  2. I only thinking about one for my living room and as a lan box Itx rigs are nice but a small pc would be better for all the travel I do
  3. Steam machines console killer With regards to normal desktops not worth it at all Prehaps a itx motherboard with a daughter board?
  4. I'm thinking more like a cup gpu and vrm block Figure of speak for full block
  5. I don't like the way Intel is going I have to admit I liked lga 1150 with xeon on normal boards but now with skylake I don't agree with this direction
  6. True But imagine the corsair bulldog with its custom water cooler that would basically be a complete motherboard water block Would it be any different to the R9 295X2 cooling solution idea?
  7. I know the fx is not the best choice but maybe Zen? I'm not just thinking laptop I'm thinking a timy htpc case like the ML05? Just as a steam machine Can't deny having a bug pc to customise can't be beat
  8. Hi guys I was just thinking it would be a cool idea if AMD did a motherboard with a integrated CPU such as 860K or 8350 or Zen, but on the same board have an Fiji GPU core So basically an R9 nano and Quad core built directly onto a motherboard perhaps itx? Or say matx with crossfire Fiji cores? Would anyone else like this idea?? I would just about kill to get my hands on one of these for my Steam machine
  9. Hey guys This is just a quick question, i have a ITX system with the G3220 and no GPU but thats ok as i only want to watch stuff on my TV at 1080p What i want to know is of the 3 options has anyone had any experience with them and could provide feed back on the better one? I'm liking the OpenELEC as this will be my samba drive as well need to keep photos updated But has any one got any suggestions?
  10. Hello Guys After finally getting the SG13B review on youtube (Big thanks to LMG BTW) I was thinking of moving away from buildn g my nas only to going for the SG13 with 3 tb of storage + boot ssd (Go ghetto mounting ), and having it as a NAS/HTPC combo, does anyone have any advice on this? Is this a bad combo, would i be better off with 2 systems? Has anyone got any experienced with this? this is the build so far http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/DHfXqs
  11. if i go for the evolv itx i can have 4 3.5" drives so wouldn't be an issue but 2tb red 2.5 would be heaven
  12. looking at the evolv which will take 4 3.5 drives but the sg13b only takes 3 2.5 drives WD need to make WD RED 2TB 2.5"
  13. The SG13 will allow me to raid with 3 2.5" drives giving me 2tb in raid 5 but would i be better going for the evolv and having more storage options as in 3.5" drives? Is there a way to work out how much storage you should get?
  14. Hi guys looking to build an ITX nas I have about £40 for a case so looking at the SG13B or the Evolv ITX or Elite 110/130 The question i ave to ask is how do i work out my drive needs? Currently i fill about 750gb and don't see me getting much more, But now i'm building a nas i have the 3 case choices the SG13B is my favorite but would make me have 3 1tb wd red in raid 5 with a ghetto SSD mount for Ubuntu, or the evolv would allow 2 3.5" drives, and the elite would be 3 3.5" drives, which would be my best choice? i love the SG13B but would i be better with the elite? the evolv its huge But what would be the best drive configuration for my home nas/server it's only for media and all my important docs will be on it and also be on the cloud HELP
