Hey guys, so yesterday the audio stopped going to my speakers on my Acer XB271HU. I've had it for about 3 weeks, and it has never been any problems, but yesterday all of a sudden it stopped working. I have changed the monitor as the standard unit, and when I play audio I see the green sound-bar go up and down, but no sound comes out. I have tried to up the volume on the monitor itself, and it is at the default value of 70. Audio works through my headphones. I'm using a display port. I have also tried connecting my pc to my tv via hdmi, which works as normal. Any suggestions? I find it so weird that it stopped working out of nowhere, when it was working fine earlier yesterday.

So lately (and especially tonight) my desktop has been acting extremely weird. I've been playing League, and I keep disconnecting, while i still have internet (and i can still hear my gf on skype), but noone hears me. At the same time, my mouse stops working. I also have a separate issue with my monitor's cable not being stuck so it keeps turning off. This is not an issue, since obviously something is wrong with either the cable or the input. The weird thing is that when my monitor goes out, so does my mouse, to the extent that even way after my monitor is back on, my mouse is still not working (nor is it's lights glowing), which I find is weird. Why does my mouse stop working when my monitor stops? Why does it stop working when I dc? Why do I even dc like this? I've never experienced it. So the Asus MX27AQ is on sale here in Norway, and I was wondering if anyone has any opinions on it, or if anyone have a different suggestion to a better 1440p monitor in that price range.

So I was shutting down my new computer (pre-built, only gonna be used for surfing and video watching), and it is stuck on shutdown. Been on "update 1 of 53" for about an hour now. What do I do? Windows 8.1.

Alright so I fixed the issue. I downloaded firefox, and everything seemed to work good there. So that got me thinking. I remembered i downloaded a couple chrome extensions here the other day, so I removed those, and now my videos are fine again. Very weird! Scrolling is still a bit sluggish yes, but it was way worse. If you still want to know, I have 8Gb of RAM.

Hey, I have a relatively new laptop. Bought it 3-4 months ago, and have been very happy with it till now. But about a week ago videos started stuttering every 10 ish seconds, even with great internet connection, and i can clearly see that the video has loaded a lot further. The audio keeps going while the picture stutters by the way. My laptop is an Lenovo Y50, i5 edition with GTX 860M. Have a 500Gb Hybrid HDD with 8gb SSD cache. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Max core temp was 60 degrees with a max load of 85%, max fan speed was 600rpm. Are these temps good and safe?

Yes I just found out too. but im a bit worried about having such a low rpm.. Wont it make my cpu overheat? gonna play a game, and see what my temps get under load. The fans are PWM with max 1500rpm..

So I changed my fan connected to my radiator with a brand new SP120 quiet edition from corsair. When I start the pc, I get a "cpu fan error", which leads me to the bios, where the cpu fan is going at around 500rpm.. What can I do? cpu is at 43 degrees in bios, so something must be wrong.

I just literally bought the same fans 2 weeks ago, and they come with a y-cable, and extention cable, and a low noise adapter cable...

You have to plug it directly into the port on the graphics card in order to get the effects of your graphics card.

Alright.. I guess thats our answer. Cheers for the help man. Gotta figure out whether Ill keep them as intake with LNA, or get filter, or swap to exhaust.
