  1. I see, thanks for the detailed info but the situation where you mentioned in the last part,is somehow similar because his game crashed and his browser also hanged due to the lack of RAM when the Virtual RAM was disabled entirely, mind you he had probably 100-300 tabs opened in mozilla firefox while BF1 was running. He has 8GBs of RAM btw.Soo basically virtual RAM has does not affect a game like BF1? Not even a little bit like frame drops or stutters because mechanical drives are slow especially when such a resource hungry game is stored there.sorry,I'm just really curious.
  2. Soo,just wanted to make sure if virtual RAM is good for gaming by allowing your computer to move some load off of the physical RAM? But will this affect game performance,if at all?
  3. Hmm,but what happens if you were to drive 3x1080P monitors on the iGPU? Also thanks for sharing your opinion.Btw sick build m8.
  4. Well he doesn't and he's quite stubborn that his Skylake CPU draws 80+ watts,so he is now going to buy a multimeter just to prove me wrong but since the community here is responsive and all,I wanna get your opinions and such.
  5. Ah,I see thanks for your opinion. Well,my friend does put quite a taxing load *Adobe Suite* on his CPU yet he says it stays at 72 watts which is just bs to me.Bear in mind,he has no multimeter and he is relying on Asus's software to measure his watts drawn from the wall.*Asus fanboy*
  6. It's on the external SD Card or "the root" of the SD Card, terms used by tech savvies.
  7. So I got the latest custom firmware for my Samsung Note 3 SM-N9005 and I was wondering how do I install it? Every time i try installing it from the SD Card in recovery mode it would show sucessful this and that and etc then all of a sudden E:Footer is Wrong and E:Verification Failed. How do I install it sucessfully without seeing these 2 red sentences?Any help would be nice.
  8. If I may get some help using this thread, which is better a GTX770M 3GB DDR5 GK106 or a GTX780M 4GB DDR5 GK104? And what's the difference between GK106 and GK104?Planning to upgrade my laptops graphics card which is an Asus G750JX. By doing this, will the new GTX780M be accepted in the Asus G750JX or will it not work at all?
  9. @SkilledRebuilds Yes I do have performance issues when i record Crysis 2 with OBS,sometimes I would drop to 0.80Ghz while doing it and its not very nice to have that.
  10. @Nena360 What do you mean little cooker? My temps are fine and it doesn't even go past 78 Degrees Celsius during heavy gaming except when I open my Minecraft which is modded to heck. Then probably 83C during heavy workload in Minecraft. Btw guys I think im good now since I maxed out the sliders on all 4 cores and got a stable frequency at 3.6Ghz during single threaded workloads,3.5Ghz when 2 cores are used and 3.4Ghz minimum when 4 cores are used while maintaining, yes, below 80C.I guess its thanks to the undervolt by a -55Mv I did on the CPU Offset's.
  11. Guys I asked what is the definition of these things not what the CPU can or cannot do. I'm using IC Diamond 24 Carats for the thermal compound and it has been fully cured. So heat is almost not an issue for me.Plus im using an air conditioner whenever it gets too hot as my country is humid and is about 37C avg.Now please guys I just need to know the definition of these settings thats all. @ExSangu Yes.That is the only thing i already knew about turbo boost. But you see I want the specific definition of these settings as I want to get the most out of it.
  12. What is Turbo Boost Short Power Max,Turbo Boost Power Time Window and what is Processor Core Voltage mode and Processor Cache Voltage? I need serious help. FYI,I need to know how to use it and these are settings from IXTU.
  13. No these are not BIOS settings there are from the IXTU software that im currently using.I would essentially like to learn more and so i found this Tutorial stuff thread and decided that this would be the best place to learn more about these 2 things.
  14. Guys can anyone give me a guide to know Power Limit Throttling and Turbo Boost Power Time Window? Please I really need to know how to operate with these settings and what are they for.
