  1. This is what a PSU fan/ PSU thats about to die sounds like. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mq5TQrnx3ZU its Seasonic M12II 750W Bronze ive had for 2 years.
  2. Thanks for the replys everyone, im definitely looking into getting a calibration tool now, and have started reading the PDF posted. However for now ill stick with the monitor, as i did some reading and AMVA apparently has a wider contrast ratio then IPS so ill wait until i calibrate the monitor to do make a decision, i also game on it a lot and its worked a charm for me in that regard so far. Its not professional for now, but it may be going that way in the future so ill be looking in to the PA248Q in the Future. Now i just have to get everything set up and to start testing! Edit: also if youd like to see, a small portion of what i use my camera for (these pictures are old) https://500px.com/A-Canadian
  3. So im currently getting back into Photography in a small scale, and im thinking about Printing some of my work with my Brother MFC-J45100W and im concerned about colour calibration. I have a 27" BenQ GW2750 AVMA Monitor that is colour calibrated best i can get it without any actual calibration tool. How do i make it so that the colours i see on screen are reproduced when i print and is my monitor good enough for me to do so accurately ? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  4. Finally got an Email back about an RMA, im hoping theyll let a new PSU be corssed shipped, i need the PC for schooling.
  5. I may or may not go with Seasonic again, depends on how i feel considering i still havent gotten an RMA response and im going insane with all this clicking. is the RM eally worse with a 0 Power Fan and Gold rating vs a Bronze for the Seasonic ? Also ive isolated it and the sound is coming from within the PSU (had it running on cardboard) from what i can see there seems to be a thin piece of plastic used inside to control airflow so im wondering if its that causing the sound.
  6. Nope, Ill take a video and post it later tonight when i have time.
  7. So its seems my M12II 750Watt PSU from seasonic has developed a terrible tick. Im assuming its the fan as ive isolated and cleaned everything else just in case, and checked the screws and mounting areas around the case to be absolutely sure. My guess it its off balance but then again i could be wrong as the clicking is intermittent (which is even more annoying), and when it does click it sounds like 2 pieces of plastic making contact, does anyone know if i should be worried about it breaking and causing damage to the rest of the system ? Ive emailed Seasonic twice (a month ago and Today) but they havent responded yet. Im totally lost on what to do, and kind of mad as i spent the money on a Seasonic to have a nice quiet power supply with quality components but that doesent seem to be the case with them. P.s. If i do end up dumping Seasonic forever, whats one of the best Quiet PSU's for 750Watts and 120-150$ price range (Canada) Ive been looking into the Corsair RM-750 but im not sure.
