  1. New OS installation would solve the problem.
  2. I'm considering getting a new CPU but a lot of people are saying wait for the new Zen processors, will they be any good? Wasn't there a lot of hype with Bullbozer CPU but they failed to live up to it?
  3. I spent $285 and I was drunk with some friends at 3am, not much research can be done at that time lol.
  4. I just bought a i7 4770k on ebay at like 3am without looking at other chips and well, I regret it. I keep seeing the i7 4790k go around the same price so should I just sell my new i7 4770k and get the 4790k? I also saw the delidding technique but I am way to scared to do that.
  5. Is there a huge difference between them or are they basically the same thing?
  6. Would that or an E5-2670 be better? I see the E5 go for $200 used
  7. I am looking to upgrade my FX 8320 to an Intel processor but I cant decide on which. I also want to upgrade my water cooler, case, ssd ..etc. I get paid around $250 bi-weekly and i only have $270 atm. Should I just keep saving for months to get a i7-5820k (which includes buying a new mother board and ram) or like an i7 on LGA 1366 or anything else. Current Parts FX 8320 oc to 4.2 GTX 970 RAM 16gb MSI Gaming 970 Kingston 120gb ssd Corsair RM750 Corsair h100i (about to break, like 4 out of 8 of the fan screws screw into it, had to replace the liquid inside it myself) 3 random hdd I want to upgrade the overall snappiness of the system, it feels to slow down when multitasking.
  8. 1. gaming 2. video editing/rendering That would be the order in terms of my use, although i know this cpu wont increase the gaming performance, i just want to increase the over snappiness of the system.
  9. They are going for $250 on ebay, I would never spend 1k on a cpu lol
  10. Would there be notable performance increase? I am overclocking my CPU to 4.2ghz.
