  1. As the tittle says, is this PSU enough for my PC build? SEASONIC M12II Evo Edition 620W 80 PLUS Bronze - SS-620GM2 http://www.gigatronshop.com/napajanja/seasonic_m12ii_evo_edition_620w_80_plus_bronze_-_ss-620gm2-35183 i5 4690k r9 280x MSI Z97 MSI Gaming 5 8gb HyperX 1600 RAM Samsung 840 EVO 120gb SSD 1TB HD Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO cpu cooler 4x Cooler Master Sickleflow 120mm Cooler Master Elite 430 kwn6 Will it be enough W when i overclock the i5 to 3.9 or more ? Will it fit in the CM Elite 430 case? Is the PSU good overall?
  2. How many W would i need for this config?: i5 4690k r9 280x MSI Z97 MSI Gaming 5 8gb HyperX 1866 RAM Samsung 840 EVO 120gb SSD 1TB HD Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO cpu cooler 4x Cooler Master Sickleflow 120mm case (not important but mehh) Cooler Master Elite 430 kwn6 The catalog from which i can choose is: http://www.winwin.rs/racunari-i-komponente/racunarske-komponente/napajanja.html?manufacturer=53666%2C53684%2C55667%2C56481%2C57710&snaga_filter=55423 Budget is around 10k dinars, which is like 90 dollars, but i live in Serbia so that doesnt even matter and what do you think about the overall PC build? im getting it next week. Thank you very much for all who reply
  3. So i am building a new gaming PC rig, and i want to buy an ssd for about 100 bucks. I live in serbia, and from the prices and the SSDs here i picked out these 2 as the potential ones Samsung 840 EVO http://www.winwin.rs/ssd-sata3-120gb-samsung-840-evo-540-410mb-s-mz-7te120bw-1178234.html Kingston HyperX 3K http://www.winwin.rs/racunari-i-komponente/racunarske-komponente/hdd-ssd-i-oprema/ssd-diskovi/ssd-sata3-120gb-kingston-hyperx-3k-555-510mb-s-sh103s3-120g-1149819.html both are 120gb, which i think for a gaming PC is enough. So, which one should i pick? or are there any better options? : http://www.winwin.rs/racunari-i-komponente/racunarske-komponente/hdd-ssd-i-oprema/ssd-diskovi.html
  4. OOOOKAY, so after A LOT of research and thinking i decided buy myself a new PC. i5 4690k ( was originally gonna get an fx8350, but after a lot of reconsidiration i will give the intel a chance, and hope not to get my dreams crushed by low fps in games...) MSI Z97 GAMING 5 motherboard MSI R9 280x Gaming 3gb 8gb ram , probably kingston hyperx 1600-2xxx mhz ? didnt decide yet Cooler Master Elite 430 kwn6 case 120gb ssd, not sure yet which one to take but probably some kingston power supply 600-700w ? havent decided yet So first off i will say that if i hear someone f*cking say that the i5 4690k is bad for gaming and that it wont last a couple of years i will quit on life. *Note I DONT PLAN ON UGRADING FOR THE NEXT 5 YEARS. after that maybe, but for 3-4-5 years i will pretty much run this config and i hope the following: *Note2: I will use this PC 90% of the time for gaming and 10% for amateur video editing and rendering, but gaming is the primary thing for me. 1. Is this processor good for 1080p gaming @60fps for games to come? 2. Will this PC last about 4-5 years, rough estimate ( I want to be able to play new games in 4 5 years even on low settings but at a decent frame rate forsay 30-60) 3. Is the motherboard sufficient enough to support future overclocking to 3.9ghz or even a bit more, and how will the graphics card work in combination with the 2. 4. How is the stock cooler on the i5? Does the cpu overhear? Is it loud ( i heard on youtube that its VERY loud) Will it be able to support 1080p gaming on ultra or at least high ? 5. When i overclock i plan on getting a new cooler obviously (Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO), and will that cool the cpu enough for it to the the above mentioned tasks but overclocked? 6. Will the damn thing (CM Hyper 212 evo) even fit in that case? ( My friend said he had to drill a hole for the cooler "spikes" on top for it to fit, but it was some other case not this one) 7.How much PSU wattage do i need? *please dont go over the top i am tight on a budget left and i dont have much to spare for 110% safe, i just wanna know how much will do the trick for sure. 8.What ssd should i get? (same as psu, dont go over the top, i want 120gb probably dont need no more) please pick all the components from this site because where i live ( serbia) these guys have the best prices, oh and just for comparison 1 dollar is like 70 serbian dinars. ssd catalog http://www.winwin.rs/racunari-i-komponente/racunarske-komponente/hdd-ssd-i-oprema/ssd-diskovi.html psu catalog http://www.winwin.rs/racunari-i-komponente/racunarske-komponente/napajanja.html budget is around 10,000 dinars for both, + - 2 Thanks to all who reply. (don't you dare f*cking say that this CPU sucks !!! ..... )
  5. I do not plan on upgrading anything in the next 5 years because i won't have the money for it. AFTER those 5ish years i will buy a complete new PC (And maybe do a switch from amd to intel or intel to amd depends on what i take) I want to buy a PC that will last me that time. I wanna be able to start a game that came out 5 years in the future, put it on medium or low settings and play it on 60fps, then look back at this moment and say, you did the right thing. The FX8350 has 8 cores and i heard that as tech advances especially games are going to be optimized to use more and more cores, therefore i should be good to go in the future, and besides the i5s have only 4 cores, yes they are better at single core performance but still, they are only 4 cores, and games are already starting to use more than 4 ( Crysis 3) . I have seen great reviews on the FX 8350 on numerous sites and everyone who took it seem to be pleased with how it performs and say that its a very good bang for the buck. I dont know where u guys are from but as i mentioned in a reply a while back, i am from Serbia, and here the 4960k costs 27k dinars , while the FX costs 20k, and im also getting a R9 280x which should work better when paired with the FX, therefore i cannot see how the price difference justifies the little quality increase. I am not aiming for the top high end ultra mega giga combo wombo, i just want a PC that can run a game at 60 fps, thats all. I never saw any positive comment about the FX and im starting to think that there is just a lot of hate pointed towards amd and their processor
  6. http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i5-4690K-vs-AMD-FX-8350 It doesn't seem to be a big enough difference between the 2 to justify the 60e price difference...
  7. You guys are speaking as if the 8350 won't even be able to get 60 fps on battlefield 3 ultra?! My friend told me that the 8350 is an awesome processor for that price range and that the 60e more is not worth the i5 4690k.
  8. I am thinking of buying this processor with this motherboard: FX 8350 990fx sabertooth r2.0 motherboard ( it was either that or the crosshair v formula-z, went with sabertooth since its 50e cheaper) What are your thoughts on the FX8350? Will it be sufficient enough to last 5 years? And im not talking about mega giga ultra top top top graphics but at least to keep it decent in the future. Will it run games that come out now on high or ultra @60 fps? Does it overheat if you put a Cooler Master hyper 212 evo cooler on it and is it noisy? Will it perform good on this motherboard? ( Not thinking about overclocking it just yet, but in the future maybe.) NOTE: I am not looking for the best processor out there ( yes i am looking at you i7s) i am just looking for a decent mid - highish end CPU that will be able to run games in the above mentioned format. I was about to buy an i5 but they are 60e more in my coutry (Serbia) so i figgured the 10-15% more performance is not enough for almost 35% price increase. Will be running that with a MSI R9 280x Gaming 3gb.
  9. I am from Serbia, and the prices here are not very kind, considering that the average salary is waaaaay lower than other western countries. Anyway here are some links: http://www.winwin.rs/procesor-cpu-am3-amd-fx-8350-4-0ghz-box-black-edition-32nm-1161441.html http://www.winwin.rs/procesori-intel-cpu-lga1150-intelr-coretm-i5-4690k-3-50ghz-box-22nm-4713416.html http://www.winwin.rs/graficka-kartica-amd-radeon-r9-280x-msi-gaming-3g-gddr5-dvi-hdmi-dp-384bit-r9-280x-gaming-3g-1180025.html http://www.winwin.rs/graficka-kartica-amd-radeon-r9-280x-asus-oc-3gb-gddr5-dvi-hdmi-dp-384bit-r9280x-dc2-3gd5-1182623.html
  10. I am really suprised by the amount of people telling me that the FX8350 is bad and that i shouldnt take that, but instead an i5. Is this really true? The fx 8350 is 60e cheaper than the i5 4690k after all. thoughts?
  11. Hi guys, so i am going to build myself a new gaming PC, and i have been researching a lot. My Budget is around 850e, and this is what i came up with FX 8350 ( Picked that over i5 since its 50-60e cheaper) cooled with Cooler Master Hyper EVO 212 8 gb ram ( Not sure which one to take but its gonna be some 1600 mhz probably) 990fx sabertooth r2.0 motherboard ( it was either that or the crosshair v formula-z, went with sabertooth since its 50e cheaper) 1TB HD R9 280x, 700w power supply ? * i am not even sure how much W i need but i heard 700 is enough for this setup* Cooler Master Elite 430 case( i hope all the components will fit in there ._. ) But my question is, which one is better ( quieter, cooler, better overall) the MSI , or the ASUS r9 280x ( asus one is DirectCU II not matrix). I am considering only these two because from what i saw those 2 are the best ones. *bonus questions: is this PC setup good, and will it be able to run new games on max @60 fps? how much W do i really need ? i heard around 700, is that true or can it be less?
