  1. Did they do something similar for Haswell or IvyBridge?
  2. Yes i did. I even tried shorting the pins but got the same results
  3. Can I do something to fix this. It wasn't like this before.
  4. That was the first thing I did before even thinking of swapping out the PSU.
  5. I need to hold the power button on my PC for very long and after many such failed attempts it finally boots. After it boots once and I shut it down and try to turn it on again, it boots without holding the power button for that long. The problem occurs when I boot it after like 24hr. I tried my old and fully functional PSU again and the problem still persisted. My specs: i7 3770K Intel DZ-75ML-45K 8GB Corsair Vengeance (2x4GB) Corsair RM650 I'm extremely worried and any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks
  6. Its a brand new PSU and I've checked the power button cable and all seems fine . Also my motherboard does not have an on board power button.
  7. When I press the Power Button on my PC, it doesn't boot. I had to hold it for like 5 seconds before it boots but now it's getting worse. I need to unplug the PSU and plug it back in and after multiple failed attempts of holding the power button it finally turns on. What could be the problem? Specs: i7 3770k Zoatc GTX 970 Intel DZ75ML-45K Corsair RM650
  8. I don't know. That's why I asked. Couldn't find a solid answer to this anywhere.
  9. I've got a GTX 970 and wanted to enable MFAA. I enabled it in the Nvidia control panel but how do I enable it in the game? I don't see any MFAA option in the graphics settings menu like MSAA has. Also I got around 60FPS with 2x MSAA before turning MFAA on in the control panel. Can I expect the same with 4x MFAA? Thanks
  10. For air cooling look at the Noctua NH-D15. For water cooling the Swiftech H220X or Corsair H100i GTX are in the 2x 120mm radiators. For the 2x 140mm, H110 GT is a nice choice.
  11. My old Corsair VS550 starting making sparking noises and was also giving a very bad burning smell. On inspection it was also giving out a distinct white smoke. I'm running an i7 3770k (at 4.4Ghz), a GTX 970 (at stock clocks), a Noctua NH-C14 CPU Cooler with 2 fans and 2x 3.5inch HDDs. Was that too much for my old PSU to handle? Anyways I'm buying a new one now and have shortlisted the Corsair CS650M and the Corsair CS550M. Will I be fine with the CS550M or should i get the higher wattage CS650M? Thanks
  12. Yes but i want it to perform good at high temps. With LNAs too it is stuck at 800rpm and wont vary with increase in temps
  13. I've just installed my new Noctua NH-C14 and noticed that its running very loud. I checked it using HW Monitor and saw the fans are running at a constant 1170rpm at both 0% load and 100% load. The fans are not PWM which I guess could be the reason but I've heard that fan control is also possible on 3 pin fans. I looked in the bios but didn't find any useful fan adjustment settings. All it could to do was adjust the max and min threshold (min by default set to 250rpm but still running at 1170rpm). I have an Intel DZ75ML-45K motherboard. If someone could tell me the steps to adjust DC fan control on my mobo that'd be great. I prefer to set a custom fan curve if possible Thanks in advance
  14. Was downloading drivers and look what i found. They might've accidentally leaked it.
  15. no room for water cooling. need a small enough air cooler.
