  1. Everything is fixed. To fix the current issues i tinkered around with the bios settings and cleared my cmos as it would not recognize my HDD and now everything works fine. Thanks to everyone for giving suggestions.
  2. I'm most postive that it wasn't in that position before, as that's how it came in the box. I'll keep posted on whats happening as of right now I've gotten a a few errors - CPU Fan + CSM Error, CPU Fan error has been fixed and so has the CSM, although for some reason it does not list all my sata ports i have Sata_1 = HDD Sata_2 = SSD it recognizes all my sata ports but will not let me enable my HDD which has all my main stuff on it, my SSD has WIndows.
  3. I've just put the Jumper in the RESET position 2+3 and attempted to cut it on and it worked. Im conffused.
  4. I've tried the power switch button for a few seconds to discharge anything many times and that has not worked. I've just tried shorting them and that has not worked either.
  5. Yes it is in the normal position.
  6. Indeed I have. One theory I have is because I have really shaky hands, as to why the last time i've done this was using the battery, although my unsteady hands caused me instead to put the jumper on 2+3, I accidently stuck it on 3 for a few seconds due to missing the 2nd post as well. Although I don't know if this would have any effect? It is back on 1+2
  7. I searched this up quite a bit before posting and read that an electrical shock could have damaged the CMOS and i supposed that could also damage other parts, Although I do use a static Wrist wrap.
  8. I cleared the CMOS via the jumper on my Z-87k Motherboard. This was to reset my bios info and so forth, after doing it, the motherboard will not cut on. The Green LED indicating power is going to the motherboard is present. I cannot hear any beeps due to not having a internal speaker on the motherboard. I've cleared the CMOS before via the battery before and it all went fine, now it simply just will not cut on, after hitting the power button the computer does nothing at all. RIG i7-4770k - Watercooled 16 Gigs of Adata Ram (Currently using test ram which is 2x 4gig sticks until i can get the pc back up) GTX 970 FTW 4G 1T HDD 500G Samsung SSD As of now I only have the bare minimun connected to my PC - CPU - Water Cooler - 1Stick of 4g Ram - Pwr Sw - Reset Sw - 4/8 pin cpu connector - 24pin power connector The power supply works fine as I've already jumped it to see if it was dead. I would like to know if my CPU has been fried along with the GPU, as I have ordered new parts since this happened and am waiting on them to arrive to switch the motherboard out, and before I buy anything else I would like to know the run down and if I can fix this motherboard.
