I have had a great experience with the ASUS RT-N66U
I second the Asus RT-N66U.
If your router is also the modem, then you can't just simply replace it. I connect my Asus router to the modem/router provided by my ISP and set it to bridge mode so the network simply passes through to my router.

After I saw your thread, I immediately Googled this and came across this: http://superuser.com/questions/465840/control-windows-8-with-a-tablet
I'm using my Nexus 7 as a touchpad input on Windows 8 right now! =D
The only problem is there is no overlay on the tablet so you kind of have to guess at where you're touching. The only feedback is a grey circle on my monitor showing where my finger is on the tablet. And it can only control one monitor (i have 3), but you can set up 3 tablets, one for each monitor.

Good choice, if you ever have any problems PM me and I can try and help, or contact ASUS's support (it's great).
Also, make sure you have a recent build of the firmware (ending in a number >= 270)
Thanks. Yeah, the first thing I did was update the firmware. :)

Find the cheapest price online, then price beat at Memory Express (or NCIX if its not available at ME).

Well I ended up buying the N66U. :D

5 hours a day is a lot more than what I spend on studying...
Block Facebook, Youtube, LTTF, or just diconnect your internet. Study with friends and do practice problems. Reading and taking notes is useless.

Amazon.com won't ship to a Canadian address. I've tried. :(

1. Safely remove USB mass storage device.
2. Problem Ejecting USB Mass Storage Device "This device is currently in use. Close any programs or windows that might be using the device, and then try again."
3. Ah, F*** it. *Pulls out USB drive*

I use Plex media server. All the transcoding is done on the fly on the "server" computer, and it streams to another PC, phone, or tablet running windows, Android, or iOS. You'll have to watch your videos using the Plex media center app on the receiving device though, which shouldn't be a problem. It also works over LAN or WAN.

I'd give the above PC a 8/10, seeing as its older generation of hardware, but still can hold its own against new stuff.
Mine is in the signature below.
I'll probably throw a 660Ti in there sometime this year. also, gonna get a better PSU first.
5/10.
My PC is in my signature.

First world problems.
Nice truck! I'm jealous. :P

how about the fact that facebook doesn't even have a storage limit?
yeah yeah, I know it sucks!
I believe Facebook reduces your photos to 2048px whereas Flickr allows you to upload your full size images. Google also gives unlimited space for photos 2048px or smaller.
Blown call costs the Pens the series...
