so iam running at 1.6v stable with 1866mhz and cl 9-9-11-31 set manually idk about the last timing should i lower the 31 to 29?? but iam stable if any one have any suggestions about the ram and don't forget the fan controlling anyone know software that controls fans with a graph/slope ?
-
sorry for the late reply i had to study so i found a problem i oced my cpu to 4.5 ghz at 1.180v vcore and 1.850vccin and this was done before the new crucial stick so i never checked for system stabilty ther was a bit of unstablity from the ram side it was mostly cpu so atm i'm running the 3 stick at 1.5v and 1866mhz and cl 11 13 13 34 needs abit of tweaking but i think i have solved the problem i will do more tweaking and report later and mark as solved if it's stable ty everyone
-
so i can set the timing of each channel i set it 9-9-11-31 and 1866mhz but the voltage is the main problem my corsair kit runs at 1.65v at 2133mhz and the crucial one runs at 1.5v at 1600mhz so i ran them at 1866mhz with 1.550v or should i run them at 1.650 or 1.5 but 1.650 i think is too much for the crucial one and 1.5 is low for corsair or maybe not what do u guys think

Problem N.1:Ram So i have 2 sticks of ram 4 gig each Model:corsair Vengeance pro :CMY8GX3M2B2133C9R was running in dual channel mode at 2133mhz and 1.65v and i think and cl9 so i got Crucial Ballistix Tactical 8GB DDR3 1600 CL8 1.5V (BLT8G3D1608DT1TX0) was thinkin that i got sray running the 2 corsair in dual mode and run this single maybe oc it a bit to 1866mhz now here the problem i think i can't configure each channel in the bios i think i have to run them all at the same speed tried 1866mhz and 1.650v but the volt was by mistake later changed to 1.5v but i kept getting pc freezing then restarting and couple of blue screen of DEATH here's what i caught of the errors : 1.PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (cpuz137_x64.sys) 2.The Famous that i get alot when tweaking around :WHEA_UNCORRECTABBLE_ERROR so i said maybe i need to lower the freq so i went from 1866 to 1600 and run memtest86+ but i don't cuz i never run it took a while to get 1 pass the test took 30min+ so i was like 1 pass is enough and stress tested the pc again from 30min i was like yeah then it froze and crash again and now iam running at 1300mhz and 1.5v and cl9 so i need to configure the ram ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Problem N.2: Fan Controlling i want to control my case fans and heatsink to stop at a certain degree and run again at higher temps i graph i mean tried speedfan only control 1 of my fan and all is working and the bios doesn't give me any setting for making a graph only pwm/temp ratio tried gigabyte system information something it worked it has a graph system but when i restart all the setting i made go away it resets so yeah help Lastly pc specs: Mb:Gigabyte z87x-oc Ram:8 gigs of corsair vengeance 2133Mhz Cpu:4790k Cooler:Noctua NH-D15 Dual Fan PSU:Seasonic 750w M12II Bronze full Modular case:CM 690 III Gpu:Gtx 650 oc and i know i will upgrade not now Os:win10 Preview Build 10074

Tyvm for the help
-
so 35-38c idle and 70c max at load is good or i could get more by try lowering the vcore a bit and see if it will be stable ? and any advice about fan controlling software or should i get fan controller and any case 120mm fans suggestions @Lays and ty i know i ask alot sorry i bother you
-
and the cache voltage offset set to 0 or leave at 299.8046875mv ? @Lays
-
i could try bringin the vcore down a bit from 1.215 later if it's stable atm have made sure cuz the setting mentioned above ty
-
idk maybe a link for linus paste applicaton method would be great i know i saw one at ncix last year but i know i apply it right i don't know. an image would be great ty
-
sooo i run it at 1.215Vcore and 1.850 VCCIN and 45 multiplier and here the result of just 1 min stress test 70c avarage somtimes spikes to 75c for a sec but stable most of the time at 69c-70c to setting i don't know what to do with them the vcore adaptive and static and cache voltage offset some people say but it at 0 oh and there some i think called voltage somthing protection it mean that it will make the vcore more stable and not jump around @Lays https://imgur.com/CZXNLfG
-
@Lays i will try this but one last thing i can disable turbo boost in bios and apply all the setting but will it change when i open xtu. cuz i can't seem to find turbo boost disable option in xtu
-
i know the stock is 1.8v indeed and stock vcore for my chip at least was 1.350v which is so much i don't want to overclock if i want it will be way different i saw that i had temp issues so i though lets see my chip real stock vcore which is 1.150v atm iam leaving VCCIN at auto in bios cuz playing with sometimes make the system unstable i can run the cpu at lower vcore it can idle but when i stress it ofcs it crashes lowest is 1.000v mid way was 1.105v but stable is 1.150v so any suggestions? i don't mind overclocking a bit i may run at 4.5ghz turning off turbo later if the temp issue is solved
-
I run XTU about the same 58c-65c Never hit 70c
-
so i run intelBurn test these are the temps same on all mode standerd high very high and maximum about 79c-81/82c https://imgur.com/MPMmDIB and ty everyone for the quick replies never though about askin but really you made happy

1.6 isn't vcore it's vrin i know i needs to be +0.5 than vcore right ?
