I would recommend the Define R5/Define S or a Corsair 450D; having used them all, they're nice to build in and don't have that ugly "gamer" aesthetic. Just my personal preferences.

Best SD Card for Android 6 Adoptable Storage (poll)
TieBomber232 replied to BiscuitMassacre's topic in Phones and Tablets
Don't use Adoptable Storage, it's not worth losing all your data if the phone/SD Card dies. -
I like LG's Stock Keyboard (G4) tbh, I can't get along with any others. However there's a new keyboard out I found called "Chrooma Keyboard" [yes Chrooma] and it looks pretty nice.

2 builds - Skylake vs 5820K - What should i choose?
TieBomber232 replied to Wiched's topic in New Builds and Planning
Having an X99 Rig myself, of course I'm going to be biased towards it, but as soon as I saw I would defo recommend the extra two cores. Especially since you can OC a 5820 to 4.6GHz or more, and there you'll have two more cores at the same speed as an average 6700K OC. -
Oh oops I missed that Apparently they've visually checked it using 3D CAD but I still have no idea whether it needs the block which is annoying but thanks :3
-
Oh damn those are cool, thanks man!
-
I saw, but surely it uses the same screws/mounting if the block isn't there?

Currently I have a MSI reference design & reference cooler 980 with no backplate, just wanted to make it look a little nicer with a backplate. Anyone know if EK's backplates work without having a waterblock attached because their website isn't written in the best English. ref: https://shop.ekwb.com/ek-fc980-gtx-backplate-black " Please note:- The backplate does not serve as a standalone unit and is compatible with reference GeForce GTX 980 waterblock!" Cheers in advance guys!

Switched To Android, Need A Similar Product
TieBomber232 replied to TieBomber232's topic in Phones and Tablets
Oh oops my bad, i didnt mean to link the AUX one, i want one with micro usb sorry guys -
Hey guys, I've recently switched from an old iPhone 5 to an LG G4, I'm looking for an Android equivalent of one of these: http://www.belkin.com/uk/F8Z439/p/P-F8Z439/ Preferably one that uses Micro USB so I can charge and play music over long distance journeys without worrying about battery life. My families car doesn't have USB, SD card reader, Bluetooth or AUX capabilities/ports, so I'm stuck to using an FM transmitter for broadcasting my music. Or, if it were possible, could I get a Micro USB to 30-Pin Apple Connector that would work with the current device I have, an older version of the product linked above w/ a 30 Pin connector. Thanks in advance guys

Hey guys, as the title says, I'm intending to build my brother a new PC for Christmas - currently he's using an old HP laptop from 2009 so yeah Just wanna get peoples adivce on what components to use, i've selected most of them because of the colour scheme (green), but if there are any awful things please correct me and i'll change them. Unsure as to Z97 or Z170 for him so they're both written down Intel i7 4790K / Intel i7 6700K MSI GTX970 100 Million Edition (green) Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Game Plus MoBo (green) / Gigabyte GA-Z170 Sniper MoBo (green) HyperX Fury 16GB (2*8) 1866MHz DDR3 (black) / equivilant DDR4 probably 2133MHz (preferably Black too) Samsung 850 Evo 250GB (boot) WD Black 2TB (mass storage) Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo Corsair Obsidian 450D Windows 10 64Bit // Donating my RM750 for his PSU so I can get a newer, higher power one for 980SLI // And some DVD/BluRay drive Cheers in advance guys

You say Z170 has better single core performance, but OC'ing the X99 CPUs to 4.2/4.4/4.6GHz puts them on par if not faster than a Z170. If you've got the money, go X99 just because its got more cores - which should be more useful in the future i guess
