  1. Turns out 3DMark got corrupted due to the crash, resulting in worse results. Reinstalled 3D Mark and gives me the correct scores again.
  2. I just Oc'd my GTX970 G1 SLI setup and OC'd too much resulting in a crash. With stock setting I reached a score of 9970 in 3dMark on Fire strike extreme. After the crash I've redone the test resulting in a score of 8500. After doing the test again it resulted in an even worse score and so on. So it got me worried but also got me thinking. It's a pretty hot day here today (34 degrees) Could the heat be affecting my results or did the crash affect my GPU's? I can still run the witcher 3 on everything maxed at 60fps+ Thanks for your thoughts My rig: Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 Vendor Giga-Byte Technology Co., Ltd. # of cards 2 SLI / CrossFire On Memory 4,096 MB Core clock 1,178 MHz Memory bus clock 1,753 MHz Driver name NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 Driver version 10.18.13.5330 PROCESSOR Processor Intel Core i7-4790K Reported stock core clock 4,000 MHz Maximum turbo core clock 4,400 MHz Physical / logical processors 1 / 8 # of cores 4 Package LGA1150 Manufacturing process 22 nm TDP 88 W GENERAL Operating system 64-bit Windows 8.1 (6.3.9600) Motherboard MSI Z97 GAMING 5 (MS-7917) Memory 16,384 MB Module 1 8,192 MB Corsair DDR3 @ 667 MHz Module 2 8,192 MB Corsair DDR3 @ 667 MHz Hard drive model 250 GB Samsung SSD 840 EVO 250GB
  3. Hi guys, I'm a dual GTX 970 g1 config. and noticed my idle voltages on my cards are arround 0.850v, Is this normal or is it a sign I'm not getting enough juice to my GPU's?
  4. Hi guys, I'm running a dual GTX970 setup and noticed that they are running at 0.885v in idle. Is this normal or a sign i'm not getting enough juice to my GPU's? Have a 800w PSU so that shouldn't be an issue.
  5. This is what I tried without any luck: Reinstall windows completely updating all the drivers and BIOS Using older verions of drivers Swapping the cards in the PCIe slots Using one on the top only and one on the bottom only All without any luck. I just plugged in my older gtx 680 abd it works like a charm. (not on highest settings but no stuttering or anything what so ever) Is it the PSU? is it the motherboard not supporting the GPU? I'm out of ideas guys...
  6. This just happened: In game suddenly the sounds falls off and it starts making a crackling sound like a dead radio. Any idea what that could mean?
  7. 1920x1080 I just did a test in watchdogs. Put the setting on normal and drove thru the city. Constant frame drops to 20 etc making it unplayable.
  8. Farcry 4 maxed out settings at arround 50-70 fps but with constant game stuttering. Temeratures are fine, between 30 and 50 degrees
  9. Hi guys, I recently upgraded my GPU to a dual GTX970 gigabyte equipped on the rig below: Asus p8z77 LE PLUS I7-3770k @ 3.5 GHz 16GB ram 800w PSU (silver) 2xSSD samsung H100i CPU cooler I'm getting horrible frame rates, sudden frame drops like my pc can't handle it. The strange thing is, when I benchmark it gives me 120FPS in 3D mark and i get incredible scores http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/5292203? Note: at graphic test 1 and 2 I get about 100 fps+ but at the combined and fysx test about 28... I've tried almost everything from resetting the BIOS of my mobo to deinstalling reinstalling the graphic drivers and I'm really running out of possibilities on what this could be. Is my motherboard too weak for the SLI? Is my PSU not capable of running this? Are there special settings in BIOS or something? (besides from the Nvidia sli configuration witch I did) Thanks for your ideas Update 1: Reinstall windows completely updating all the drivers and BIOS Using older verions of drivers Swapping the cards in the PCIe slots Using one on the top only and one on the bottom only All without any luck
  10. What I have going on now is a part of the 'image' of my first screen as I enter the game lingers vaguely on my screen even if I move somewhere else. Only experiencing this in Farcry4 tho...Random framedrops apear in every game on highest settings.
  11. The cards are fine. I plugged my speakers in my frontal headset entrance and that gives me sound. Does this mean my motherboard might be damaged? The rear inputs don't work anymore.

  13. Just installed afterburner and the GPU's are detected and showing readings. Only my core voltage doesnt show any readings. Is that normal?
  14. No not yet. I'll try that out now. By the way, when monitoring my voltages I noticed my CPU voltage is ranging from 0.9v to about 1.2v. Is this normal or does that indicate a problem with the PSU? Also, what you are asking me has nothing to do with the audio not working anymore.
