  1. i'm trying to install my amd catalyst video driver on my computer, i put in the disk, make the program run like normal but then at some point my speakers make a repeated kinda freezing noise and my screen goes black, the noise eventually stops but my screen stays black and i have to shut down my computer and turn it on again, to which the driver still isn't installed. i would appreciate any help/advice. thank you

So I'm not the smartest with computers so I don't know exactly what is wrong with my computer's build, i just know that i can't run any games even at there lowest settings without my computer crying it's eyes out trying to run them. so here's my build MOTHERBOARD: * GIGABYTE 970A-DS3P AMD 970 ATX w/ Ultra Durable 4 Classic, On/Off Charge, GbLAN, 2 PCIe x16, 3 PCIe x1, 2 PCI MEMORY: 8GB (4GBx2) DDR3/2133MHz Dual Channel Memory VIDEO: AMD Radeon R9 290 4GB GDDR5 PCIe 3.0 x16 Video Card (Single Card) HDD: 2TB SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 32MB Cache 7200RPM HDD Fan: Asetek 510LC 120mm Liquid Cooling CPU Cooler CPU: AMD FX-8320 3.50 GHz Eight-Core AM3+ CPU 6MB L2 Cache I made it on CyberPowerPC, i'd appreciate anybody's input on this Edit:i think my driver is some visiontek radeon from amd
