  1. Ok, i'll keep that in mine the next time but yeah, two psu cables from two psu ports or one psu cable split in middle?
  2. Quick question and sorry to necro, can a GPU holder (http://eu.coolermaster.com/en/case/case-accessories/vertical-graphics-card-holder-kit/) damage a GPU in the same that mine had(holding static electricity maybe?) . And do I connect two cables from PSU to the GPU or a single cable with mid split and single PSU port
  3. The weird part is that I ran AIDA64 on the PC and stressed all components on the system stability test for 30 mins. It worked without restarting, isn't PSU issue indicated when in such situations the pc restarts. I am myself confused since now GB is issuing me a new GPU boxed but if PSU was killing it i'd be sad when the new GPU dies. I went to corsair INDIA. They tested voltages and said it was giving proper output but they cannot load test since no facility in India has load testing capacity Corsair India is saying that they'll change the PSU immediately if the new GPU dies and I was like "wtf that kind of defeats the purpose of getting a fresh piece"
  4. Use intel XTU to plot CPU temps or monitor CPU/GPU temps in realtime using MSI Afterburner and RTSS. I suspect thermal throttling. Also use latencymon and see if any service exceeds 1000 milliseconds of execution time when u experience those stutters.(can help weed out driver/software issues)
  5. They explicitly stated that the S/N of the card they send will be same as they flash it before sending it to me, that's why I devised the GPUID test using destiny 2 codes (expensive to pull off but friends love me since they get cheap destiny 2 :P) I will ask my shop if they can refund it but its been 2 months since RMA cycle so I don't know if they will
  6. I am currently getting my fix of overwatch from the IGPU and so far ( basically 1.5 months) I have not been having issues Changed multiple GPU slots, there are 3 on the mobo but the bottom-most slot is literally at rock bottom and my 1080 ti is THICC af so it doesn't fit But I did test with my friend's 1050ti (doesn't draw extra from pcie power from psu but relies entirely on the pcie slot for power) and it worked just fine but I never did test it for over 1 day. Maybe i'll borrow it for a week and see if the mobo kills it as well (and then possibly get killed by my friend :P) This may seem a bit too extreme but they said that they flash the same serial number onto all GPUs they'll issue me. So I got 3 destiny 2 NVidia keys for $5 each, since they lock onto GPUID which is independent of the manufacturer serial number(i.e doesn't allow same GPUID 1080 ti to redeem multiple destiny 2 keys). I have been redeeming those keys on each of the replacement GPUs and they are successfully being redeemed so I guess they are not the same GPUs I send them but they could be old defective batch so not clear on that.
  7. Next time I am gonna ask them to send me a video recording of the GPU tests they do. What are the signs I should look for if it by a teensy chance could've been because of the PSU (since gigabyte was pretty persistent during second RMA that your PSU is killing our GPUs, meanwhile they use VS650 to test 1080 ti's in their service center, and a VS 450 at the collection center -_-)
  8. Check out rocketjumpninja's reviews for those and see if you like them. Apparently all the professional gamers stick to zowie only for mice http://wiki.teamliquid.net/dota2/Dendi http://wiki.teamliquid.net/counterstrike/Pasha and the list goes on
  9. I'll ask them. Hopefully they agree but in India stores typically aren't this generous
  10. I also sent them the motherboard this time(when I got the gpu that doesn't work out of the box properly in heaven) and they said the motherboard is fine. They also reflashed the latest motherboard bios before shipping it
  11. I don't think so, i'll ask the store also. I barely got 16 days of playtime out of this and since then I am stuck in RMA hell I tested a friend's 1050 ti but since it doesn't draw from separate pcie power, I doubt its a suitable test
  12. I was about to recommend the g900 but since u have had so many problems with your Logitech I doubt you'll want it. (I only had great experiences with Logitech, my mx518 still runs strong after 9 years and my adder died in 1 year and a month :P) Try zowie fc2/ec2 mice, really great stuff, if not for Logitech's amazing wireless and great sensor on g900 I would've gone for those. But beware no rgb or any flashy stuff on zowie side
  13. So, I need some advice here. I bought a new pc in September. Randomly six days while playing overwatch during menu(uncapped fps,no vsync, obviously in games like those) there was random glitches on screen and pixilation. I had to hard reset pc as it wouldn't respond. No display on the port I was using on the GPU, I switched ports(DP 1 to DP2, etc), it worked fine till bios then again that pixilation and freeze till I ran out of all ports on gpu. New RMA comes 2 weeks later. Same issue after a week. New RMA comes 2 weeks later, this one has weird glitching on unigine heaven out of the box but no display freezing and pc continues to work. ( Tried different drivers, using DDU to uninstall, and Vbios flashes didn't do jack) So my question is, is the batch of GPUs I am getting bad or could it be a PSU problem, or could it be a motherboard(since gigabyte upgraded my purchased gaming 5 mobo to a "oem" gaming 7)? Specifications for reference:- PSU - Corsair RM750x (heard it was really great and a far cry from the "bad" RM series) Motherboard - Gigabyte Aorus Z270 gaming 7(I originally bought a gaming 5 but it was scratched inside the box and once I sent it back they gave me this, claiming it was an OEM version hence didn't come with a box) GPU - Aorus Gtx 1080 ti (non -extreme) Processor - 7700k(Oced to 4.8 Ghz) RAM - 16 GB (8x2) Corsair Vengeance RGB 3000 MHZ ( Oced to 3200MHZ) So what could be the culprit a bad luck with a bad batch of GPU's, the replaced(upgraded) motherboard, the power supply? PS: I haven't had any issues with random restarts and all which typically indicate a bad psu so I am really confused why me PPS: There is a 132 Kv line around 20 metres from my room, could that cause some issues with its EM field(I know it isn't good for people to live so close to those but no other option atm )
  14. This is a bug in geforce experience , it would be better to report it directly to nvidia forums for rectification
  15. Rig doesn't sound that bad as some people have said .... its like the truck driver swag for pc owners
