Well i was wondering if it would degrade my chip at 1.3 volts very fast if im just rendering videos

If i try to 4.8 ghz i just freeze instantly and i have to give it 1.3 volts to get it running stable. I dont really feel like running at 1.3 volts lol

It is a pretty good overclock lol i was kinda happy to get that at such a low voltage.

Hello techies I am wondering what the maximum overclock on a 4790k would be. Temps arent an issue as i get 60 celcius at 4.7 ghz with a 1.25 1.265 voltage Im wondering if i can get possibly a better overclock to use for just video editing (not gaming) to speed it up a bit, without degrading it.
