  1. Thanks for the reply, the mobo powers on properly, there's a light that remains on at all times unless I unplug my PSU. The RAM is fully seated aswell, so that cannot be the issue either.
  2. Thanks for the replies guys, I tested the PSU in someone elses computer, but it seemed to work fine there. Is it possible that the motherboard I'm using isn't compatible with other cases? Because right now that's the only thing I can come up with aside from the cables in the case being faulty...
  3. Hey there, I've recently starting building my first computer, but I've run into something I can't seem to fix. After switching my computer to a new case, recplacing the PSU and CPU cooling I can't get it to function. I've triple checked if every cable is connected properly, I took it apart and build it up again but neither seems to work. Before I switched to a new case/components my old computer didn't have any such issues, so I'm quite sure I screwed up somewhere in the building procces. The computer does turn on for about a second, before it shuts down again. - The components - GPU: XFX Radeon HD 7970 PSU: Corsair VS650 CPU cooling: Corsair H110 Motherboard and CPU: The motherboard and CPU originate from a HP z400 workstation. The motherboard is a HP Invent FMB-0802, and I'm afraid I can't find out which xeon CPU is inside. RAM: Corsair XMS3 2x 8GB (total of 16) Casing: Define r5 Fractal The replaced components were the PSU, and the CPU cooling from the HP z400 workstation, which I'm afraid, do not know their product names. My old case was the HP z400's case. I'm at my wit's end, if anyone could give me some insight it would be very much appreciated. Kind regards, Anowil
