  1. The update script should be working now. Can you try run it again? Also if it doesn't work can you try running it as a admin and as a non admin? Hopefully it was just me accidentally uploading the wrong file...
  2. Update: Might be a few bugs... Sorting them now but shouldn't need another update *Hopefully* Hold tight and try update for now.
  3. *Starts working on a quicc update for CES issues at 2pm... 7 Hours Later... The new update.bat and install.bat files are gonna be way nicer to use though!
  4. Version 3.4.0 (GitHub) The 3.4.0 Release is out! This release contains fixes from versions 3.0.1 to 3.0.3 and a bunch of new features from there to 3.4.0! This release contains a large amount of updates and fixes all consolidated together! Short Changelog You can now easily Install and Update the script using the batch's inside Update.zip or Install.zip. Support for Embedded YouTube Videos is posts & downloading multiple pages is now in. A fix for CES2018 content added. An option to force login every time the script runs to remove temp session issues. There are a bunch of new settings which you can read about in the Settings Info wiki page. More info in the full changelog below Install Guide If your updating then good news! Its super easy now, just download the Update.zip extract it to your install folder and run it. It will automagically update all the needed files and move your settings over. I suggest double checking that everything is correctly updated in the settings.json though. For people who are doing a fresh install just follow the below guides: Installing the Script & Downloading Setting up Plex As always if you run into any issues you are free to Create a issue here, Contact me on Discord @sirInrix | <3#6950 or Leave a comment on the LTT form post. 5. Its technically updated now if you want to pull the files directly and run npm update. But I decided I wanted to work on a nicer way for the script to update so its been delayed for a bit. Will definitively be out today though.
  6. There is a big update coming soon! Will fix the current crash issue and a bunch of other things. Plus a few small new features Will probably be out in the next hour.
  7. Just a heads up there is possibly a issue with ffmpeg ATM. I'm going to look into it and get a fix working now. Also there are a few other updates that I'm planning on doing today so you can expect a new version soon including all the previous small fixes that have happened recently :).
  8. I'm going to be building a new NAS soon and will be having 6 drives in raid 5 with another two in raid 0. And preferably the ability to have an ssd as a cache for the raid 5. However motherboard raid is apparently pretty crappy for raid 5, so I'm looking for a decent card. What would you suggest? It just has to be shippable to NZ, or preferably in this store: pbtech.co.nz Mode Details: Raid 5: 6x4TB Drives >Possibly a SSD for cache to help with writes Raid 0: 2x2TB Drives I'm not against doing the Raid 0 on the motherboard and the 5 on its own dedicated card if that would be cheaper as I think there isnt much of a performance difference between motherboard raid 0 and a dedicated raid card. EDIT: Oh and preferably nothing over 300 NZD... plzhelp I haven't played around with dedicated cards before so I don't really know what to look for <3
  9. So I'm super interested in getting a OLED TV mainly for watching Movies/TvShows/Youtube but also for possibly playing some non fps games like Hearthstone/Starcraft/Civ ETC. I have seen OLED screens before with HDR etc and they look AMAZING. BUT, Their stupidly expensive.... Especially in NZ where I live So, I'm curious firstly, do you think that the price for OLED TV's is going to drop significantly this year? (Like more than 400-500NZD) Where it would be worth waiting for a drop in price over getting it now. And with a budget of 3k NZD Maximum what OLED tv would you recommend (From any supplier that MUST SHIP TO NZ) Oh and is there any downsides to trying to use it with a PC? Like can I use HDR etc with it? I currently use MPC-BE to playback media on my 4k Monitor because of its amazing decoding/upscaling etc and the fact it can life decode and display HDR content on a SDR display, but would there be issues trying to use the TV with full HDR etc via a PC? And would it be a good idea to get a cheap quadro for 10Bit display out? I dont mind too much about SmartTV Features and Ill likely have it hooked up to a PC/OtherStuff with the main focus being Movies/TVShows etc and any games I intend to play shouldn't have major issues with input lag but lower is better.... Curious to what you have to say
  10. Sorry for the delay in replying! It looks like you *can* since node.js works fine on linux etc but it looks fairly cancer to setup... If you can have access to a linux console to install node and just copy over the files then maybe, or perhaps there is some sort of plugin for FreeNAS that lets you run/schedule node.js scripts, but I dunno... It would probably be alot less cancer to setup the script on a PC and just have it run daily with the download folder pointing to a NAS. Also if you do do the above, I haven't actually tested pointing the script directly to a network share (Not a mapped network drive that should work fine since windows stores the credentials) So if you do plan on pointing it to a share and not a mapped drive to tell me how that works out or if it breaks. Ofc you can also try syslinking a network folder but Id suggest using a mapped drive as thats the most stable. If you have any other questions just shout at me I need to try and get LTT to email me on replies to this thread.
  11. Yea, if everything is correct but they arent named then redownloading them generally should fix it. Unless there is something wrong with the script. Though if you dont want to download them/cant you can always manually set the title of the video yourself by going Properties > Details > Title and pasting it in there. Glad you got it sorted
  12. Refresh the meta data for the library on plex that will fix it. I suggest using the command line to automatically update plex after the script runs as this does that for you.
  13. Merry Christmas to everyone sorry its a bit late Just a little update, if you get into a loop where the script cannot login or its constantly getting invalid cookies then this should fix it: v3.0.3_HotFix.zip I just got into such a loop as the script wasn't clearing the generated cookies every time it got a invalid session causing issues. Though this seems to be a rare issue so most people shouldn't experience it.
  14. Just a headsup today's FP Exclusive got sorted wrong because the title was "LTT: FP Exclusive: Hands-on with an Automated Car Development Kit" lol so you can just grab it out of the LTT folder and move it to the FP one. Make sure to change the episode number though
  15. Oh! Ok what you need to do is modify the batch file to have the absolute file path for the script. So change it from: node scrape.js to node I:\nodeScrape\scrape.js Where I:\ etc is your drive and path to the folder that contains the script.
  16. Are you pointing the scheduler at the script.js or the batch file?
  17. v3.0.2_Dev This is the proper fix for the session problem. Since its not a major change its not going to be a full release and sessions still work fine with the 3.0.1 HotFix. But if you want to get the update for it now you can just overwrite your files with the ones contained in v3.0.2_Dev.zip. Which has these changes: v3.0.2 - Proper fix for check invalid session key - Commented all new code from 3.0 Otherwise I hope everything is going good for everyone As always if you have any cool ideas/suggestions or problems just message me.
  18. The site is not out yet. But once the site is released I will be rewriting it for it. Unless they release an oficcal plex channel that allows downloads or something else that replaces the functionality.
  19. h265 is insanely more efficient than h264, I have worked with files over 40-90GB being compressed down to as little at 7GB.... So would the LMG guys ever consider having a h265 download for floatplane? Not for say every quality, but perhaps a 10Bit h265 version at the same bitrate as the h264 max quality 4k or 1080p etc. So its the same size but way better quality or have it be the same quality but smaller bitrate to save on some server bandwidth for people who download anyway and can playback h265... This ofc wouldn't be for web playback as pretty much no browsers currently support it as far as I know but for downloads I think it could be great especially if floatplane starts offering 4k playback or even HDR playback as h265 really shines in the higher resolutions... Curious to see what others think aswell, Do you even know about h265 or have you used it before?
  20. 3.0.1 fixes that by removing the check for it if you havent patched that and you were on 3.0 before it was released then you have to for the script to continue to work. Im busy working today but maybe after I get home tonight Ill get a proper fix out for the session stuff. But for now 3.0.1 should fix it getting stuck in a unrecoverable loop, and if it does get stuck after that just clearing the cookies it has will fix it. You can just delete the entire cookies part of the json file as long as your login details are still in there.
  21. Just a note that session stuff is still a bit buggy after the 3.0.1 update... Ill be working on a fix today hopefully, for now if you run into issues delete your cookies in the settings and have it regain them using your login.
  22. Version 3.0.1 Hotfix (GitHub) This is a hotfix for those who have already installed v3.0. If you haven't done that yet then just go and install it directly as that has been updated. Changelog - Fixes invalid session key Install Guide Overwrite your script.js file with the one contained in the hotfix. v3.0.1 Hotfix.zip
  23. Version 3.0 (GitHub) Version 3.0 is now out! Containing Autologin and a bunch of changes/updates to cookies and other stuff! This was a pretty big change to how cookies are dealt with. So if you run into any issues please do message me on my GitHub, the LTT Forms or Discord. Thanks You can now login directly through the script! Thanks to @vikduf who pushed the base code for it re #1. All settings are now contained within a settings.json file instead of the settings.js file. This allows the script to read and write to it instead of just reading like it was doing before. It also allows for the script to automatically update your session and login information if you give it a Username/Email and Password. And removes the need for you to manually find your cookies on the first setup! Changelog - Changed settings to use a json file so they can be saved - Removed the need to manually get cookies - Added cli with prompts to use a Username/Email & Password to login - Added full support for using different qualities - Cleaned up obsolete code Install Guide If your updating your going to have to do a clean(ish) install. Just overwrite everything in your current folder with the files in the v3.0.zip Make sure to do "npm install" to update new packages. You can copy over some settings from the old settings.js file to the new settings.json file if you want to keep stuff like your video directory, there is more info on the new settings.json file here: Settings Info After that you can delete the settings.js file as its no longer used. You don't need to move over your cookies you can just run the script and login using a username/email and password. If you use 2Factor or another method to login then you will need to just copy your cookies over or manually set them as explained in the guide below. For people who are doing a fresh install just follow the below guides: Installing the Script & Downloading Setting up Plex v3.0.zip
