Nah my brother and his family dont game. He likes my mechanical keyboard for its weight and feel. Monitor wise he said he likes mine. Which is a asus MX299Q.. he maybe will only do a video a month.stupid pigeon shit haha..i pretty much have control of the build..worst part is i have to teach him how to use everything

So the consensus is to stick with the Ryzen 7 1700 for this build?

Yeah i will look into it. Thats just a general build list. Will come down to whats available in brisbane. Would prefer to buy at 1 store.

My brother is a apple person.since its the only thing his used and is useless with technology. But he wants a pc due to when i showed him the base imac at around $2500 it was crap in my opinion

Hi. Im building a pc for my brother who wants do video editing and just your general daily use needs. Im talking maybe a video every 2 weeks to a month. He doesnt game and is pretty useless when it comes to technology. His budget is $2500 Aud. He wants a 29inch ultrawide monitor since he likes mine. I was considering a i7 7700 build but i dont know much about video editing. Ill have to learn to teach him.. Your recommendations would help cheers

I just put a Intel P600 nvme 512gb on my Asus z170i pro gaming board. its seems to be showing in the bios and disc manager but i can not access it. Im trying to clone my old ssd to the p600 but i cant seem to get it to work. Help would be nice thanks Ive been trying to use Intels data migration tool but it says i dont have a intel ssd installed

I was just looking at the ek AIO with qdc, can only find a 240mm aio at the moment, but from the info i found it should easily hand the cpu and gpu with good temps. plus the evolv mini may not fit any larger rads. just gonna be costly though

I'm going to change cases, currently have a corsair 250d and looking at a Phanteks evolv mini. Just not happy with the 250d. Hopefully the phanteks will have better airflow. May see if someone wants to swap my gpu for a evga then i can get the hybrid cooler

hi all. I've been offered a AOC U3477PQU for a reasonable price. I've found a fair few good comments on them and a few negative comments. I'm not sure if it is worth it or not. or should i just save for a Acer predator x34 which is triple the price of the AOC. I'm a huge fan of ultrawides and currently using a Asus MX299Q. I just want a bit larger screen and a higher resolution. IS the Aoc worth it or just wait? I game, Dayz, BF1, forza. also use my pc for movies and everything else in between. i just flashed the bios to the latest one from asus's site. still no change

hi i have a Asus z170i pro gaming. when i switch it on it goes to a screen that says "Please enter setup to recover bios settings"..I can't figure out why. I've reset everything to default.

At the moment i'm running a 6600k on a asus z170i pro gaming mb with at corsair h60,16gb kingston ram and a r9 fury x. bitfenix case.(was cheap and brand new system) the case and gpu im replacing. was looking at a Phanteks Enthoo Evolv itx or corsair 250d. I liked the idea of the ek QDC system.

a gigabyte xtreme is $1229 and the starting prices for a air cooled is around $940. plus with the cases i like i dont think i could fit the hybrids

if i dont go a hybrid card, will use either a corsair 250d or air 240 case

yeah just have to find a new case that will support a h100i and a hybrid card

Hi, I have a mini itx system and was looking to upgrade to a gtx 1080. I like the hybrids just for the fact they stay cooler but is it really worth it? There are only 2 hybrid options available in stores here and they are the Msi seahawk x and gigabyte xtreme. plus they are between $200-300 more than air cooled cards.
