  1. @0ld_Chicken is right, I got the email too, they shut the service down totally out of the blue.. they paid it's users what they had in their accounts which is good.
  2. Hi everyone, I wanted to share a program with you guys, ( I hope posting this type of stuff is allowed ) called "Suchflex" EDIT: Looks like they shut it down To sum up what it does: It combines bitcoin mining(GPU), selling hard drive space using Storj.io (HDD) and completing BOINC projects(CPU) all in one user-friendly program where no complicated setup is required, earning you a passive income, that pays out weekly. *Please note that it still is in beta. For more information: Bitcoin Storj.io, Linus and Luke covered this on the wanshow BOINC Offical Suchflex site also FAQ Official subreddit On their site, there's a list of components that state how much you could earn.eg: a GTX 960 could earn you "20+" a month. Here's a labeled screenshot that I made: 1 - Toggle switch: on/off 2- utilization of component in percent, can also be changed by user, higher= more MH/s 3- list of hard drives which can be used for storj, sliders can be moved to change how much to share. 4 - redeem button, here you can choose the platform to redeem to currently: Keep Balance in Account Coinbase Paypal Stream Gift Code Bitcoin Wallet Digibyte Wallet FLEX Redemptions happen every Sunday Minimum Balance to redeem = $3 5 - Shows how much each component has earned you, top right is the total. If you're interested in trying this out, you can sign up through their site.
  3. Problem solved! 3rd LAN port on router is broken, plugged computer in the 4th port and it now works. Thank you all for your help!
  4. For the Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller it says, This device is working properly. nothing happened/changed. EDIT: when doing ipconfig /renew it timed out because it was unable to contact (your) my DHCP server
  5. I typed it as one command and it said: Error: 87 The restorehealth option is not recognized in this context. the DISM log file can be found at... Should i post the logs for sfc and the command you gave me ?
  6. 1.Same things happens. 2. Has nothing to do with the router since other devices aren't having problems, but will restart anyway. 3. Using Ethernet, even switched cords just in case. Are those separate commands or one big one ? other devices are working. it's just this one computer.
  7. Also I would like to add: If I restart the computer or disable and re-enable the network adapter, it will show the yellow ! between the computer and network , with the X next to the internet, and after a few minutes the yellow ! goes away but the X stays...(in the network and sharing center)
  8. Like it says in the title, the computer isn';t connecting to the network, let alone the internet. In the network and sharing center is shows an X next to the internet (sorry for the screenshots being so big...) When I open the network troubleshooter, it says an error occurred. Should I post the results from the sfc scan ? Things i've tried: -restoring from a backup(Using Windows Backup and restore) -running sfc /scannow -disabled windows update services Am currently scanning it for viruses.. I'm all out of ideas.. Anyone know what's wrong and/or how to fix it ?
  9. That icon is from a software called "CyberGhost", a free/paid VPN. source: http://www.cyberghostvpn.com/en_us
  10. In your router's setting page , look for something called LAN or internet setup, and look for ip address. ^Good point, didn't think about that. But i'm still convinced it has something to do with the IP's, could it be related to the DHCP server? Maybe it has to be turned off on the 2nd one ?
  11. Sounds to me like both routers are trying to use the same IP Address. Try changing it to something like this: Router1 IP 192.168.2.1 Router2 IP 192.168.2.2
  12. Setting it to Never will keep all disks running. Setting it to ( for example ) 10 minutes will sleep/turn off all other disks besides the OS drive. ( since it's always being used, it won't turn off.) That being said, the option controls all Hard disks (and SSD's) In my system I have 1 SSD for the OS and 1 HDD for stuff, and have it set to turn off after 10 minutes, the SSD stays running, but the HDD turns off.
  13. -Solved- I emailed the company and they said it would work. I received it today and it's working great.
  14. This is the fan i'll be talking about: http://www.arctic.ac/de_en/arctic-f12-pwm-co.html My motherboard is the MSI - 7641 ver 3.0 which has two fan ports, one 4pin and one 3 pin. So, here's the problem, the 3 pin fan port is broken and doesn't work. (Don't ask how or why..it just doesn't work...) So, I've been using a fan that has a molex plug, and it would just ran at max speed the whole time. now, I've put that fan into another pc and need to get a new one. While doing research I came across Arctic's "PST" fan (which stands for "PWN Sharing Technology") quote from their website When I saw this I thought great! Just what I was looking for, untill I saw which connections it comes with/requires ^ that yellow cable is a 3 pin connection... (remember mine doesn't work... ) Apparently the yellow cable is to control the fan speed of the Arctic fan. Under the support section of this other fan from their website, there's an FAQ on how to setup the PST: http://www.arctic.ac/de_en/arctic-f12-pwm-pst.html click on "How to set up my system using PST (PWM Sharing Technology)?" Copied from the FAQ section mentioned above ^ So, after this long explanation, here's the big question... If I buy this and plug the fan into the motherboard's 4pin (cpu fan port) and plug the other end (of the Arctic fan) into the cpu fan plug, will the Arctic fan and CPU fan spin at the same speed, and spin up and down depending on temp ? Basically ignoring the yellow 3 pin fan port/plug that's on the Arctic fan, or does the 3pin plug on the Arctic fan need to be plugged in for it to work ? Sorry for such a long and confusing post, i'm just a little confused...
  15. Got the A4-6300 with 8GB ram and an SSD, everything is working great. Thanks for the help everyone!
