Overload's Achievements

  1. Works perfectly on firefox although I prefer chrome. If anyone knows how to get this to work on chrome I'd appreciate it.
  2. When trying to watch youtube videos on my second monitor whenever I click to go fullscreen it does so but on my other monitor. No matter which screen the window(tab) is open on it still fullscreens on the right(primary) display. To be clear this is not the flash problem where I can't work on the other monitor without the video coming out of fullscreen. I don't have this problem. Is there anyway to have the youtube video fullscreen on the other(left) monitor?
  3. Looking at getting a new headset for casual gaming, just wondering if there's any differences between the Corsair vengeance 2100 and the 1400? Other than the fact the 2100 is wireless and the 1400 uses 3.5mm. Do they use the same drivers etc? If anyone has any better suggestions for less than £100 I'd appreciate the help.
  4. That's my plan anyway, something mid range in about 2/3 years just to prolong the life of the PC
  5. Looking for some advice on component choice for a low end system to replace my mums ageing dell from a decade ago. I'm well versed in higher end components, but thought best to check my choices before I buy. Budget is around: £350 Here's my plan so far: CPU: AMD A8 5600K Mobo: Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-DS2 Ram: 8GB Kingston HyperX Beast 1600MHz Storage: Seagate Barracuda 500GB PSU: Corsair CX430 Case: Fractal Design Core 1000 OS: Windows 7 Curious if anyone has any suggestions for alternative parts. Its only used for internet surfing, watching movies and playing some ancient games. Hoping to make it last for a good few years, with the possibility of adding a dedicated GPU in the future.
  6. IMO the build quality and looks of the M8 alone make it far better than S5 since they're fairly similar in spec
  7. I don't really want to wait that long, I though about getting an MX Blue K70 but I don't have any experience with blues so I'm hesitant to spend so much and turn out to not like it. People say blues aren't great for gaming but are brilliant for typing. A friend of mine has a K60 and I love the style of it so ideally I'd like a K70.
  8. Does anyone know where I can get a Corsair K70 with cherry MX brown switches in the UK? Im aware they've stopped manufacturing them to make way for the rgb backlit KBs but they aren't due out for at least another few months. Suggestions for other MX Brown keyboards would be appreciated if I cannot locate a K70, Thanks.
  9. Yes, there is no problem with adding a second pump. However it will not directly affect temps, it will increase flow which in turn will likely reduce your temps. Most people shouldn't need more than 1 pump, whats your rig and current WC setup? I'll see if I can make a good recommendation once I know that.
  10. I've been thinking about getting a pebble for sometime now and was wondering what people who actually own a pebble think? What's the build quality like, Does the battery really last 5-7 days with general use? Interested to hear everyone's experiences with it so far. Thanks.
  11. Great suggestion, actually hadn't seen the HDX yet but unfortunately I need something relatively soon.
  12. Mostly for viewing notes, PDFs, diagrams and pictures etc...
  13. What would everyones reccomendations be for a tablet in the $350 range? Looking for something that'll be used in lectures primarily but also for content consumption. Needs to be light and rugged as I'll be carrying it around most of the time. Idealy I want a high res screen but if everything else suits I could survive with a more regular resolution. Thanks guys
  14. Edited the original post to contain my budget
