  1. I only care about physical Nintendo games. I've, unfortunately, thrown out many of my PC big boxes (and I really regret that). I am pretty much a digital buyer.
  2. Didn't work as in it just bumped the speeds back down to the default 2133mhz. In the BIOS it's set up to attempt the overclocked ram profile 3 times. If it fails 3 times on the 4th boot it will back down to 2133mhz which is the default speed that the ram is guaranteed to run at.
  3. Ok so I got it back up to 2666. I re-installed the update and was able to instantly go up to 2666. Then I tried going up to 3200 but that didn't work. So I went back down to 2666 and that didn't work again. It was weird. I reset all of the settings and then I could hit 2666. It's almost like if it fails once on a different speed it just fails on anything else until you reset back to defaults.
  4. Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200; 4 8GB dimms. I wanted more memory for virtualization.
  5. I just updated the BIOS on my Asrock Fatailty Pro with Agesa 1006, and it nerfed my ability to hit 2666. I'm stuck at 2133 with 4 sticks.
  6. Someone posted a link to an ebay seller on /r/noctua. It was about $43 and shipped from Austria. http://www.ebay.ie/itm/Noctua-NF-A20-PWM-/232340406766?hash=item36189141ee:g:k8kAAOSwblZZHbh0
  7. That's why I bought it. I'm replacing a Thermaltake 200mm fan that came with my Suppressor F1 case. I'm planning to measure thermal differences between my current 200mm fan and this one, when I have time this weekend. I'll update this post when I do that. Sure. I'll take a picture when I get home from work.
  8. I just got my NF-A20 in the mail. Here are some unboxing photos.
  9. I personally would go with the NF-A9 PWM.
  10. Anytime I can replace a fan with a Noctua fan, I do. I currently have two of their 80mm redux fans in a case and they are extremely quiet for 80mm. Take my advice with a grain of salt; I'm a Noctua fanboy.

    Push or Pull?

If you have one fan and it's in the rear of the case, make it exhaust, or push air out.

    Push or Pull?

For water cooling, pull is easier to clean. *edit* when the radiator is mounted to the top of the case. I can't imagine it being easier to clean in pull config when it's front mounted.

    Push or Pull?

Luke did a video that might be helpful for you.
  14. My experience has been that NF-F12s are quieter at full speed than the SP-120s. What kind of temperatures are you getting with the H80i and the SP-120?
  15. I can't recommend the NF-F12s enough if noise level is what you really care about. I currently have 4 machines in my office; two are 100% noctua fans (7 140mm fans & 5 120mm fans), one has a couple of 80mm noctua fans, and the fourth has 7 SP-120s, two of which only run when the GPU tells them (Asus Strix card). The machine with all of the Corsair fans is the loudest at idle even against the other machines that have all fans running at the same time. Don't get me wrong the SP-120s are excellent fans; they're just louder. If you're looking to make your system quieter, go for the NF-F12. LTT introduced me to Noctua, and I'm a fan for life.
