    I want to upgrade my nas to have a fiber connection to my switch. My switch has 4 sfp ports on it and i have a rj45 port on its pci card any advice on how to upgrade the connection from gigabit to faster thanks

    i live in the middle of no where so no one uses it but i want it on cause then i can use fon (house next o my school has it) but i just want the airways to be clear for my proper wifi router

    Alright I have my modem supplied by BT that has their Bt wifi with fon and i want to stop the wifi signals coming off of it but cant get them to tun it off due to reasons. Any one have any ideas to what i could rap around it to block the wifi signals. Tin foil maybe? any help would be great.

    would you recommend i put the rj45 connectors on the end of the cable or use a patch panel and connect that to my switch. Which one is better or is there no diffrence cause it seems patching cables is easier than the crimping
