Hello, I got an ASUS UX305FA the other day and am thoroughly happy with it but there is an issue with wireless connections. Firstly, I get 50mbps download and 10mbps upload from Telus. Telus does not offer ipv6, for anyone who says this is the problem. My computer (Custom) that is LAN gets avg 15ping, 50mbps download and 10mbps upload. My phone (ASUS Zenfone 2 ZE551ML) gets 20ping, 10mbps download and 10mbps upload. My last laptop (G46VW) got 20ping, 25mbps download and 10mbps upload. The ux305 is currently getting 25ping, 10mbps download & upload. I refreshed my laptop to factory default upon noticing the problem to eliminate software problems. I downloaded google chrome, winrar and intel update utility. I have tried various intel 7265 drivers, all having fairly the same connection. I contacted ASUS support that was basically useless "have you tried turning it off and on again?". Some issues I have noticed are: Also the upload barely fluctuates which would mean to me that signal is not a problem either. Using the Telus router/modem I get 10mbps download but on the Linksys I get 5mbps. Lastly, just for clarification other devices are working fine on both routers perfectly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Need help purchasing new 'gaming' miceI
BuffGoff1 replied to BuffGoff1's topic in New Builds and Planning
Also I forgot to include my hand size, sorry. From middle finger tip to wrist 21cm and 10 cm wide. I was thinking about the 502, 602 and the 700s. Numerous places have said the 700S is not the best for fps. However the 502 may be a bit too small; Do you think the 602 would perform just as well as the 502? Also if you own it how is the surface? Glossy, rubber or rugged? Thank you -
Budget: $100 > Games: Mostly FPS Current mouse: Steel Series Sensei Raw Rubber I am buying a new mice as my current middle button does not work anymore. I would prefer wired as I have not had the best experiences with wireless however if you feel a certain mouse has a good wireless connection, great! I would prefer rubber as my hands don't really get sweaty but more so, lightly moist/damp. I do not need any lights or macros but they seem to come with every mouse so I guess that is not a possibility. I currently run at 1500-2500 DPI @ 10 sensitivity in cs go as an example. (All mouse settings are default in windows). Thank you

Having a typo on your specs. That's nothing crazy. Having someone telling you after providing Lenovo specs sheet that they still are correct. That is just straight up scamming.

With some customization I was able to get what I was asking from that laptop. I LOVE YOU. Thank you so much for finding something I was not able to do. THANK YOU! ThinkPad T440s Ultrabook with FHD screen for + $120 got it. -

Once again. I do appreciate your efforts. But once again. These do not fit my guidelines. The screen is 1600 x 900. The screen is larger than the 15.6 inches. It weighs 6.2 lb. I have tried to be nice to you even with your remarks of how I am an oddity who's guidelines are ridiculous. But at this point it is almost as if you are trying to force an incorrect laptop down my throat to sooth your burning desire to be the guy who solved a request. I do not know why this is but you come with a possibility and leave in anger each time I compare your suggestion to what I would like. Please just leave this alone as you clearly becoming to the point of obsession over this. I am trying not to be rude here but it is making it hard not to be when my desires are clearly stated. I am now going to go to asleep if my stimulants do stop make my heart explode. If anyone else who views this is able to solve this. Then know you are a God among Laptop searching capabilities. -

I spent a few hours looking over notebookcheck. I wasn't able to find anything that meet my requirements that was still being made. That said I did find some laptops that meet the requirements but were dis continued and not able for purchase anywhere. That's why I created this thread as I suppose a newer version must be out with mostly pros instead of cons. Therefore meeting my guidelines. However I was not able to locate these newer versions and thus the creation of this thread for help. I believe possibly that the companies may release what I am asking for with the new 5th Generation processors but who knows how long that will take. -

I was going off a source that was apparent between the Lenovo and the G46 therefore if the G46 was too loud for me, then the Lenovo certainly will be. To answer about the 'anechoic chamber'. I currently take the maximum dosage of Adderall and Ritalin allowed to be prescribe in Canada to reduce my distractions. If this helps you imagine the need for such silence that I require. @huilun02 I definitely do not have the answer. Merely hope. -

I did not come on these forums to create a smug act, aggression or an argument. I merely am looking for a laptop that fits my description I am looking for help. Now if you guys feel I am too 'smug' then please do not help me or try to argue against my personal opinion of what I would like in a laptop and let them be. I am not demanding help here but you clearly seem to have to argue against my hearing capabilities. -

I owned the g46vw prior to this new laptop I am looking to get. It ran at "The measured low of about 34 dB(A) shows a fan that is always audible" http://www.notebookcheck.net/Review-Asus-G46VW-Notebook.86486.0.html Thus the reasoning behind this decibel limit I have set in my guidelines. I understand to 90% if not more of the population will find this suitable. However I do not and that is why in my guidelines I listed the requirement. And as the title states " Hardest thing you will attempt all month". I do not expect an answer soon if not ever; however i do believe there exist a product. Once again, I am sorry if I am frustrating you and I do appreciate your efforts. -

I am merely asking for help. I appreciate your efforts. I was not able to find anything that fit my guidelines. I came here looking to see if anyone was able to. Now if my guidelines are now considered to 'anal' for you. I apologize but bluntly speaking. The guidelines are are guidelines and if something does not fit them. Then they are not within my consideration. -

Yes you did however with an exception. It is to say the lease the laptop performs extremely loud. Decibel completely ignored, "video playback will easily bump fan speeds to a more audible 36 to 37 dB(A) range." http://www.notebookcheck.net/Lenovo-IdeaPad-Flex-2-15-Notebook-Review.123450.0.html -

5 hours of hunting I assure you less than 10% of retailers have a resolution filter. Much less a decibel filter.
