  1. Thank you A LOT man! It worked with the console! Right now it's installing Windows. Thanks again!
  2. No, I formatted it within the windows installation. Right now it's just 1TB of unallocated space.
  3. So I ran into this problem when my cousin gave me her laptop to make a full format and fresh Windows install. She also needed more space on C: so I formatted the whole HDD and deleted the partitions and when I tried to make a new partition the following error occured - "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI systems, Windows can only be installed to GPT disks." I'm no guru but I've done this a hundred times, this is the first time I encounter this error and seriously what do I do? It won't make partitions and the HDD is completely formatted. Please help I really have no idea how this could be fixed. Thanks!
  4. If you can get an invite I'd recommend the OnePlus 2 or if it's still too expensive the new Moto G is an absolute beast for it's price tag.
  5. For the almighty android no amount of ram is enough. But still you won't have a problem with 2GB
  6. Ok guys, thanks a lot, we ended up with this - http://pcpartpicker.com/p/DPZDLk My friend really liked the Be Quiet! case and now I really want one too damn it So any final thoughts? Because tomorrow he'll order everything. Yeah we won't build it, we'll ask someone more experienced to do it.
  7. So a friend of mine asked me to help him with building a gaming PC that will last him 2-3 year at least, without having to upgrade. But I'm not so informed as I used to be on PC hardware, so I'm asking you for help. Here's the deal - he wants 2 graphics cards, a big SSD and the most current technology, so the PC will be more future-proof. These are the components I picked and a few I couldn't pick so you'll have to select them to go nice with the build. MB - MSI Z170A XPOWER GAMING TITANIUM EDITION (it's so shinyy , but seriously is it good for this build?) CPU - i7 - 6700k (Skylake for better futureproofing (?)) GC - 2xMSI GeForce GTX 980Ti Gaming 6G Ram - G.Skill Ripjaws V Series DDR4 2666 (4x4GB) SSD - Samsung SSD 850 EVO 500GB HDD - ?? No idea actually (4TB should do it) PWR - Be Quiet! Dark Power Pro 11 1000W Cooling - ?? No idea also. Case - Absolutely no idea So he wants air cooling and not very noizy one, so the case has to be one that allows good air flow and big fans. That's from me, oh and also money-wise he doesn't have any specific budget, money isn't an issue, just no crazy unnecessary overkills .
  8. Thank you all! Initially I was leaning towards JS as well, but now I'm sure it'll be my choice. One of the reasons is I'm semi-good at photoshop and I really like designing things and JS' front-end capabilities feel just for me. For now that's it, I know any good programmer has to have extensive skills in more than one language but for me that's still in the far future, now I'll focus at learning everything I can about JavaScript. Thanks again!
  9. Thank you for the quick responses! First I'd like to say that this course is a very intensive and effective one, it's getting people from barely knowing how to hold a mouse to having a job as junior developers for 4 months. Whichever language you choose is started from scratch and when you're done with the course you are almost immediately employed by a company. The sponsors are two of the biggest software companies in my country and you even have a chance to start with them and the lectors are actual senior developers working for those companies. So I'd like to point out that it's not just a course to start you with programing, but also you'll be making a living with the language you learned there. Ofcourse you'll have A LOT more to learn on your job and as my friend put it, you'll feel useless the first couple of months on your job. I may have mislead you with my first post and I'm sorry but the real question here is which language will get me a better chance of getting a job and keeping it in the future? As far as I know JS can be used both for front-end and back-end and is more versatile and extensive language than PHP (I may be talking bulls right now, sorry). Thank you!
  10. Hi guys, after a long postponing I finally decided to take up on programming as my main goal in life. After a year of studying English Philology and two years of switching meaningless jobs a friend of mine showed me a course that he recently passed and he's currently employed in a softdev company. Now I have in front of me the decision on which prog language to start the course in. I've narrowed it down to PHP versus JavaScript and I'd like to know some opinions, especially about noob-friendliness and long-term usefulness. The course starts at absolute 0 with no programming knowledge required, just some basic computer skills. The preliminary exams consist of two logical reasoning tests at which I excel and I think won't be a problem. Nonetheless I'm currently learning html, css, php and javascript through CodeCademy so I'd have a better chance of being selected for the courses. But I still can't decide which one to choose and my friend tells me both are good and prosperous. Please help me with my choice. Thank you!
  11. Well thanks all, I read/watched some reviews of the E10's and they seem like the right choice.
  12. I'm not from the UK, but I'm traveling to London later this month, so I'll be buying from there because the price is lower. The E10's look very promising on paper and with that £30 price they are a bargain. But I'm open to more suggestions since I'm not in a hurry.
  13. The title is pretty self-explanatory, I'm looking for a good pair of in-ears for £50 max since my AKG K324P's are dead now after 6 years of good service. Rest in peace. They were pretty bassy and could produce seriosly low frequencies but still had very clear sound and were quite loud. So that's what I'm looking for, an overall good phones with bass that means business but doesn't overshadow the high-ends too much. And don't tell me it's not possible for this price because the K324P's were around £30-40 and frankly if I could find them now I wouldn't hesitate buying 2 pairs. Right now I really like the K376's but I don't want to spend much more than £50 and they are almost double that. So any suggestions? P.S. Never EVER buy the JVC HA-FX1X if your life doesn't depend on it!
  14. So ok, I'm definitely going for the 280X now, but as far as I know the i3 is just out of the question for gaming PCs. And the i5s are a bit too expensive, I'm not being an AMD fanboy, but the FX6300 is quite the bargain. Is there gonna be any difference if I go with the 6350 because it's not that much more expensive? For the PSU I can get a CX600, but will it be enough? I know the 280X is a very power-demanding GPU, but you tell me I may be wrong. I've heard the same thing for the Kingston V300, but didn't they improve their performance eventually? Also I read that WD blue drives have the best performance and reliability are they the ones to go for a gaming build?
  15. Hi everyone, so I'm planning on building a good-ish gaming PC for christmas and I need some help with selecting the best components for my budget. But since I'm from Bulgaria this is tricky, here prices are a little higher and sometimes way higher than UK/US so the components themselves will be the budget guide. I'll accept everything which is +-10% of the price since I can be a bit flexible on the budget. The components I picked are as follows: MB - GIGABYTE FXA990 UD3 (Is it ok for the build?) CPU - AMD FX6350/6300 (I'd want to know if the 6350 is just an overclocked 6300 and is there a real difference between them for gaming) RAM - Kingston HyperX Fury 1866MHz 4GB x2 (two more will be joining the party later) GC - Sapphire Toxic R9 270X 2GB or I could go for the 280X if the CPU won't bottleneck it. SSD - Kingston V300 120GB (anything better in it's price range?) HDD - Western Digital 2TB (what colour and what do they mean? ) PSU - CORSAIR VS650 (it's not the best but it's a reliable brand and I don't feel like spending a fortune on a PSU so any better ideas?) Chassis - Raidmax Vortex 402 (again don't wanna spend a fortune on a case ) So that's it guys, is there any room for improvement? Any overkill components (unlikely imho)? Tell me everything you think, I'm open-minded and will accept criticism. And one last thing, I was thinking about the FX8320 since it's not too far from my budget, but as far as I know for gaming you need more clock speed vs cores right? And the 6350 is 3.9GHz vs 8320's 3.5GHz but I don't really know if there's other differences so please enlighten me. Thanks in advance and if something doesn't make sense, I learnt english from teh internetz so blame it for that
