  1. I did as you recommended for the Standard SATA AHCI Controller and it said it was already up to date and I have no intel components in my system. I have an older motherboard (gigabyte HT3.0 AM3+) and gigabyte doesn't seem to have any firmware updates for it as far as I can see. And there are also no firmware updates for my crucial bx300 240gb either. I also did a memory check and my memory is fine. It just happened again and I am kind of at a loss about what to do. Edit: Thats not the name of the motherboard, I'm trying to figure out what its called rn.
  2. Hi, My computer has been freezing for a couples of months now, just randomly, sometimes in the middle of a game sometimes while I'm just browsing. This issue seemed to started happening after I installed my ssd and started booting off of it, after doing a clean windows install. It had never gone to a blue screen so I didn't know what the issue was but today I let it sit for a while and it eventually went through a diagnostics blue screen. Then it told me I had a DPC watchdog violation. Upon looking this up I see that i have storahci.sys drivers in my Standard SATA AHCI Controller, but every website told me I needed iaStorA.sys drivers and I am not quite sure how to install them. Please help. Thanks
  3. Is there anything else I need to do? When I do a fresh install will it wipe both drives I have installed? Or will it just go onto the ssd and leave the hdd untouched?
  4. I just got a 240gb crucial bx300 ssd. I'm looking to transfer my os to this ssd from my hdd. I've looked at guides and stuff online, but they only seem to show how to transfer my whole hdd to my ssd. Is it possible to transfer just my OS over, and if so, how? Thanks
  5. Hello, starting recently reddit and some video streaming sites have been giving me NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID error. The time and date on my comp is correct and I can go to these sites on my phone and laptop, but not my computer. Do you have any idea what could be causing these problems?

Don't waste it. Remember when they ask for help.
  7. Don't buy logitech. Don't buy beats. Don't buy razer. Forget about all of the crap about "surround sound". Any quality pair of headphones will have that. Audiotechnica and sennheiser are always good.
  8. For anyone who has this question in the future, this link (https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1146484-how-to-lock-your-mouse-inside-a-game-on-a-dual-monitor-setup/) did it for me.
  9. That's the thing. Path of exile has an auction house type thing out of game on a website. The plan was to be able to use it on one monitor and play on the other but that is kind of out of the window right now which kind of sucks.
  10. It is my main display. Thank you for the help though.
  11. Hello, Today I hooked up two monitors to my computer as I have always wanted a dual monitor setup. It's amazing, but I have a few questions. I play a game called path of exile and I play it in windowed fullscreen mode because I use macros. The problem is that my pointer goes onto the second monitor when I do this. Is there any way to lock and unlock the pointer for 1 screen? Another problem I face is when I try to play fullscreen mode I have to alt+tab to move my mouse to the other screen. This kind of defeats the purpose of two monitors. Is there any way to fix this? Regards, Jackson
  12. /r/The_Donald wasn't breaking any terms of service. It's not a harmless joke, reddit comments have been used in court. How do we now determine the integrity of those? Also it is pretty laughable that you would shutdown a sub just because it disagreed with your political views.
  13. How is this? http://pcpartpicker.com/list/Hf6TPs There is a mobo/cpu combo at microcenter for 250 and those are the components. I added 20 for tax. The gpu is a 6 day sale on Newegg at 405 with 20 rebate. Is there any way I can shave off any more? @Apollo Refugio @deXxterlab97 @Sreno1 @GalacticRuler
  14. Hello, my friend is looking to build a computer. He has a budget of around $800 USD but is willing to go up to 1000. He does not need peripherals, and you can add windows 10 for $40 from Kinguin to your budget. I have found these keys to work well. We also have a microcenter and fry's near us for in store purchases. He wants to play games on this. Thanks for the help
  15. Is there a time frame for next gen? I can't seem to find anything.
