There is the aerocool strike X 600w 80+ bronze and a seasonic eco 600w psu into consideration.

The Antec VP550P V2 550W Power Supply or The THermaltake SMART SE 530W modular 14cm fan 87% efficiency.which is good and will 550/530w be enough?

I'm thinking about the cooler as well. Do I need an aftermarket cooler or will the stock do just fine?

Hello everyone, First of all I want to say I'm fresh and new to building a PC. So I want to thank you in advance for the help. I want to build a rig containing a GTX970. Still not sure about my budget, but can anyone here help me build the CHEAPEST rig containing a 970 without it bottlenecking? Thanks again... Sorry for being such a noob, lol Anyway, hoping to get some help from this awesome place!

Wow! Thanks mate! This is really a big help. The reason im choosing the970 over AMD cards is ebcause of the Gsync as well as the relativity of the card. Thinking about future proofing, I admit though that I am a little lenient on the Nvidia side of things. Maybe even a tad biased towards them lol. I enver owned an amd rig so Iw ouldnt know. This is a great help!

Yes, I have a copy of windows, a mouse, monitor and a keyboard. I even have the kraken 7.1. Right now im gaming on my laptop which only has a gt630M lol... I can play farcry 3 and bf3 but on low settings only and though the gameplay is still amazing, i dont get that satisfaction you get when everything is maxed out. Thank you for the tips!
