  1. The main reason for the 360 is because I use E-books for my textbooks and being able to fold it up and just place it on my desk like a "regular" book is pretty helpful. Long study sessions that don't involve looking up at my computer and down to desk are pretty nice. I guess gaming is not really a priority just figured if the laptop can game, I certainly would game on it on the go. Its just not a priority because my desktop is made for gaming. The dell 7559 looks like a really interesting option. What do you guys think about the Lenovo Yoga 710 14". It has the same cpu as the 7559 and has a 940mx. Would that run much slower than the 960m( that is if its using ddr5 and not ddr3) What do you guys think?
  2. Damn did not realize 600-800$ was considered a cheap laptop, thanks for the suggestions!
  3. Hey Guys, I'm a little lost on the whole laptop market. Here wishing it was as simple as building my desktop so i decided to look for aid. This is what i'm using currently (It is my brothers laptop and he needs it back so i need a new one.) http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03898001 Hp Pavilion touch smart 14'' Intel Celeron Processor B877 4GB DDR3 SDRAM (1 DIMM) Intel HD graphics with up to 1664MB total graphics memory I hate this laptop, I go from using my desktop that has 4690k and gigabyte 970 to this thing. My budget is around 600$ and I am looking for a few specific things that are mostly usability. I am really wanting to get the a laptop that is touch and can fold 360 like the spectre or lenovo yoga. This laptop will be primary for school and will be lugged around. Workload being normal schools stuff such as internet surfing/ video and word. Not sure if at this price range you can game and video edit but if possible i would also do that on this laptop. Any suggestions would be helpful, thank you for the help.

  8. So i have a bit of a silly diy project i want to do. I own the bitfenix colossus case here is a picture of the case: So what I am wanting to do is change out the led's that are in the case for better rbg leds. I have several reasons for this, one and the thing that bothers me the most is the way the leds are put in the case there is a clear piece of plastic with led strips on top and on bottom. What this causes is uneven lighting towards the middle part of the case. What i would love to do is put 3-5 led strips inside the each side panel to one have more even lighting and two a different variations of colors compared to just blue and red. My concern is having to many strips of leds and it being difficult to wire and power. I would technically have 9-15 individual strips in the case in the two sides panels and the one front door. Finally my question is, How are led's powered and is trying to do this viable? Thanks for the help!
  9. what is the best fm2+ cpu chip for the money right now , going to be running it with a r9 285, thanks for the help
  10. i always forget that amd calls it something else, sorry!
  11. So my question is Would running an ($140)AMD A10-7850k Kaveri 12 core, 3.7GHz socket FM2+ 95w with integrated graphics(4 cpu cores, 8 gpu cores) in sli(if thats even possible) with a ($100) sapphire radeon R7 260x 2gb card. Additional information: Basically were this is coming from is my buddy and i are building a budget gaming pc for a friend with a budget of around $600 with some wiggle room. My buddy is selling a motherboard with the kavari chip set, 8g of ddr3 and a case for a total of $150. Leaving $450 for the rest. Now the kaveri chip with the lower end graphics card was his suggestion while i feel it would be better to buy a stronger graphics card say a 960 or 280x? rather than go for the integrated graphics. What do you guys think? thanks for the info as always.
