  1. As I said, already ordered everything but case fans. I know the Kingston isn't great, ended up getting it because reasons.
  2. Hey! So I'm gonna be building a computer this Christmas, and I've picked out and ordered everything except the case fans. I don't know very much about case fan selections, and was looking for advice. The build list is here: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/PXhQBm As you can see, I'll be building in the Bitfenix Prodigy M, with a H100i CPU cooler. How many case fans will I need? Is it worth it replacing the stock fans on the H100i? And what fans should I get? I don't have a ton of budget left to buy fans, so something not super expensive would be nice. I definitely like the Spectre Pros, cause the LED would be nice (going for a red and black color scheme). halp
  3. Gonna be running 1080p monitors. 4k would be great, but for the foreseeable future the monitors are out of my price range.
  4. Hey! After several months of researching, I arrived at a tentative build list for a $1500 small form factor gaming build: [PCPartPicker part list](http://pcpartpicker.com/p/8WVwjX) / [Price breakdown by merchant](http://pcpartpicker.com/p/8WVwjX/by_merchant/) http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Aetharus/saved/pjMypg The one thing I'm still on the fence on is 2x 970 or 980, it will basically come down to which I find with a deeper discount. So what do you all think about this build? Will the cooling be enough (e.g., should I buy more fans?)? Will everything fit? Where will bottlenecks be? And is there anything I can do to just make it generally better? And a few specific questions: Is getting a 750 watt PSU excessive? I want upgradability. If anyone knows: does the h100i fit into the Prodigy M? I think it does, but I can't tell. Yeah. thx
  5. So I'm building a new desktop on a roughly $1500 budget, and I'm torn as to what graphics card to get. My two options are a single GTX 980, or 2 SLI GTX 970s. Everything that I've read suggests that the 970s will vastly outperform the 980 for not much more, which is all well and good, but I'm mainly concerned about upradability. If I get two 970s, I don't really have much room for upgrading without replacing what I already have. But if I go with one 980, then I can upgrade by adding another 980 in the future. What are your thoughts on this? How much better are 2x 980s than 2x 970s?
