  1. Actually had the wrong item shipped to me, was told to just keep it and they'll send me another.
  2. 16GB Ram is pretty standard nowadays anyways if your going to be playing games and streaming. As far as the SSD, they're dirty cheap nowadays. SSD for your OS and some games makes everything smoother and faster. As for the CPU, whats the budget?
  3. Have you tried monitoring your VRAM usage in the games?
  4. Vancouver in Canada or Vancouver in Washington?
  5. AFAIK Amazon US has drones where Amazon CA doesn't. The Prime List is so much longer thus the extra 40% for Prime.
  6. Not looking to get one, just came across one while browsing newegg.
  7. https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIAG0H7RV3780&ignorebbr=1&source=region&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwordsCAMKPL-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwordsCAMKPL-PC-_-pla-battlegroundsca-_-Accessories+-+General-_-9SIAG0H7RV3780&gclid=CjwKCAiAqt7jBRAcEiwAof2uK0Jxx5J2M9_vc2tMupELpSRMnEUWzkSHoectPjiIyvMhudIydX7vtBoCQkMQAvD_BwE Not looking to get this GPU, just came across it while browsing.
  8. You've already spend money on a 70" 4K TV. Whats another $4 a month? I'd totally do it for a better experience.
  9. Is there still warranty on the card? Should probably call up the manufacturer and get that sorted out.
  10. Just work out the better deal for the GB. What are you using your PC for? Speed doesn't matter if you're just gaming. Some ram is actually overclockable in the BIOS.
  11. I'm very happy with the experience. I've gotten a YEAR. $139usd which is $180cdn and I was only on the phone with them for less than 15 minutes.
  12. I think the i5 route isn't bad at all. The i7 probably isn't needed for gaming anyways. Paired with the RX580 should be more than enough for 1080p. No need for the Ryzen and mobo as the 3470/3570 is backwards compatible with the mobo you have right now.
  13. Little backstory was looking through credit card statements and saw 2 charges. "Amazon Prime Member CA" for $8.95cdn and "Amazon Prime" for $17.24cdn. Can't be right as Canadian Prime is only $7.99+ taxes. Called up Amazon Prime Customer service, was told by their call center that I have 2 amazon prime accounts, one for .com and one for .ca so despite the exchange rate, $17.24cdn is $12.99usd. Was also told that when I made the CA account, it also made one on the US site aswell (for some odd reason) and they were able to help me cancel the US account as its never had a single transaction. Never the less, they've given me a little more than a years worth of money back!
  14. Are you sure you didn't go on Amazon.ca or Amazon.com?
  15. Even on the used market? I was able to scoop a mobo and i7-2600k for my bedroom PC for 80 bucks in Canada
  16. The Acer Aspire E15 has very nice specs with an i7 but its more than your budget. Maybe go preowned?
  17. Open, then transfer from USBs/External Drives given to me. Review. Save as a copy and pass it back on several weeks later.
  18. The board comes with 4 slots, do you have them installed right next to each other? try reseating the ram so that is alternating.
  19. BIOS Time is sitting at around 10 seconds whereas the PC at my office is sitting at 3.2 BIOS time. I only have DropBox starting. Last windows, install, probably 2 years ago. Not just for gaming, I deal with alot of big sized files on a daily bases (commercial real estate renders) so it wouldn't be a bad idea anyways.
  20. Ya Im using a 850 PRO still, its been 4 years. I always leave the PC on for more than 2-3 weeks and rarely use it. Probably wore it down quite a bit, Samsung Magician actually says that the drive health is still good but doesn't seem like it's performing like how it should be.
  21. Been a VERY long time ever since I've posted. I feel like my SSD just isn't performing the way its suppose to be even with optimization via Samsung Magician. Boot is kinda sluggish compared to my PC at my office (i5-8600 w/ a 240GB Kingston SSD). I currently have 2 drives, a 850 Pro (boot drive) and a Intel 730 as my Steam Drive. My PC was built 4 years and at the time M.2 SSD's were wayyy over priced. I've been browsing Memory Express for SSD's and I've had my eyes narrowed down on a few. 970 EVO M.2 500GB @3,400MB Read / @2,300MB Write for $170CDN 970 PRO M.2 512GB @3,500MB Red / @2,300MB Write for $230CDN WD Black M.2 500GB @3,400MB Read / @2,500MB Write for $160CDN ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro 512GB @3,500MB Read / @3,000MB for $140CDN Will probably go for the 970 PRO unless stated otherwise Drive will be main boot drive with 1-2 games that I will "start" playing again. The board in my system is currently a Z97S SLI Krait Edition and it does support M.2 .
