  1. There is a monitor hooked up already. I use teamviewer as I don't have a USB controller that can be passed through yet. Makes it easier.
  2. I just got a brand new fresh install of windows 10 on unraid. Without gpu passthrough I have zero issues. Everything displays just fine. But after I passed through the GPU and installed drivers, it has the same issues. No errors with the driver. An example of one of the issues is below. I dumped the vbios of the gpu and set it but that didn't seem to do anything.
  3. I've installed home assistant os on an old computer I had laying around. I tend to use add ons for it. The computer isn't needed for anything else so I didn't want to bother running ubuntu with a docker or anything like that. I have updated to 2022.11.1. I went to go use the file editor addon I had installed but it was missing. Tried to find the addon store, its missing. It was all there before and reported being the OS. Even updates for the OS and HA showed up separately. When I get the system report from home assistant, it says its a container (system information copied from HA below). I've had this happen once before and I just reinstalled the OS and it fixed it. But that was a pain getting everything set back up. Any ideas how to fix this? I do updates through the interface. Only reason I updated to 2022.11 was because some of the HACS themes I was trying to use required it. ## System Information version | core-2022.11.1 -- | -- installation_type | Home Assistant Container dev | false hassio | false docker | true user | root virtualenv | false python_version | 3.10.7 os_name | Linux os_version | 5.15.72 arch | x86_64 timezone | America/Chicago config_dir | /config <details><summary>Home Assistant Community Store</summary> GitHub API | ok -- | -- GitHub Content | ok GitHub Web | ok GitHub API Calls Remaining | 5000 Installed Version | 1.28.0 Stage | running Available Repositories | 1142 Downloaded Repositories | 21 </details> <details><summary>Home Assistant Cloud</summary> logged_in | true -- | -- subscription_expiration | December 8, 2022 at 6:00 PM relayer_connected | true remote_enabled | true remote_connected | true alexa_enabled | false google_enabled | true remote_server | us-east-1-2.ui.nabu.casa can_reach_cert_server | ok can_reach_cloud_auth | ok can_reach_cloud | ok </details> <details><summary>Dashboards</summary> dashboards | 1 -- | -- resources | 14 views | 9 mode | storage </details> <details><summary>Recorder</summary> oldest_recorder_run | November 12, 2022 at 4:10 AM -- | -- current_recorder_run | November 11, 2022 at 10:10 PM estimated_db_size | 179.73 MiB database_engine | sqlite database_version | 3.38.5 </details> In the logs even an hour before I found this out it says this. 4. I just painstakingly setup unraid to be headless as I only have a Quadro P4000 in the system on Ryzen and wanted to pass it through to a windows 10 vm. I finally got it to work with no error 43 and drivers installed. Although I'm having random graphical issues. I am only logged in through Teamviewer. There is a monitor attached as well. But some of the issues I've had are that I cannot scroll in the Windows settings. I can see the scroll bar moving, but it does not scroll on screen. I've tried to ge the minecraft launcher working (it showed the launcher without the passthrough), but now I cannot see the launcher. I can see the gpu working just fine in task manager too. No issues with the driver in device manager as well. I have hyper V disabled in unraid for the VM as well. Also I'm having issues with the microsoft store just not loading properly. The app opens, but it loads only some visual elements. Its missing most of the items on the store visually.

  6. I run a small IT/AV business and we host our website through squarespace. We tend to have PDFs we provide customers for any documentation on the equipment we install. I know Squarespace has member areas. Is there some way to use the customer email/name and give them personalized documents that are hosted in Google Drive? We also use Square (considering switching to FreshBooks), for our POS and Invoicing. I know Square also has the ability to upload files to each customer, but don't see any sort of integrations that lets us auto add documents. Long story short, I want a very easy way to upload and view PDFs for each client, and also have them easily able to see it. Yes, I could just custom code a site and it would work, but Squarespace is the way to go for me currently. Also, I am able to do code blocks in squarespace if needed.
  7. We have an Allen and Heath soundboard. We primarily use the D-Snake port on it and need to be used over fiber (100mbps ethernet ONLY). So we picked up some media converters that will work for this. Only problem is that these media converters use primarily SC OM1 fiber. We picked up some SC to LC cable adapters. We have a 1000ft fiber reel with OM3 LC fiber on it. I've tried to get it to work, but I believe due to the size of the OM1 and OM3 it isn't getting a link. I cannot change the fiber reel (it's damn expensive). Is there any way to adapt or convert it without changing the reel or the media converters? Diagram of connection: Soundboard (ethernet) -> media converter (sc 100mbps) -> SC to LC (OM1) -> 1000ft fiber reel (OM3 LC) -> SC to LC (OM1) -> media converter (sc 100mbps) -> D-Snake device (ethernet). UPDATE: I was totally reading the wrong thing. The SC to LC cable is OM3. I have to diagnose why it isn't working still. I don't see an option to remove this post.
  8. So just to make sure I understand, if a device is on (or is accessible on) the main school network, I can connect to it on the 2nd control booth network simply by typing in the IP address (and port if needed) on the 2nd control booth network, correct? We connect to Unraid via SMB. The main school network is on a different subnet than the 2nd control booth network (10.20.xx.xx vs 192.168.1.xx).
  9. The main school network I believe is 10Gb. Each other network is 1Gb only. If it puts a load on the router, that is fine. This is more or less a temporary solution until we are able to make it one big network for the control booths. I have a decent understanding of networking. But NAT I don’t know much about.
  10. By keeping things separate, I just mean so we can set our own static IPs and only certain people can access the devices on our “separate” networks. The only reason we are connected to the main school network is just for access to the internet.
  11. I should note that I have zero admin access to the main school network. Only admin access is on each of the control booths.
  12. At our school, we have our main school network. Then we have a router that is connected to the main network for our first control booth area to give us more control over our own network and to keep things separate. We have a second control booth in the same kind of configuration (although with a different model of router). On the first control booth area we have an Unraid server setup in there. We would like to be able to access the Unraid server via the second control booth. I’ve already setup port forwarding on the first control booth so we can access Unraid into the main school network, but I’m not sure how we can pull that into the second control booth network. We do have nextcloud setup with remote access outside of the school network, but it’s not ideal to do it this way as it is slower than a local connection. Eventually these two separate networks will be combined into one large network connected to the main schools network. But that won’t be for a little while. Below is a very basic drawing of how the networks are if I didn’t explain well.
  13. I have an iMac Pro at our high school in our theatre for video production. In our film department we also have a network in there where we use NDI a lot in it. I was wondering if theres a way where the iMac can primarily use their network in the theatre, but also we can still access any SMB servers or any NDI sources on our network. I know you can connect to multiple networks at the same time if you have the adapters available. But I don't know if Mac is capable of doing what I want to do. They are entirely different subnets I believe. The films network is just connected on a router from the schools network (so double NAT I believe). The theatre network I think is a standalone network without any internet (they sometimes connect the iMac wirelessly to the schools network if they need internet access).
  14. So I would have my main router (most likely a EdgeRouter) connected to the backhaul fiber with all of my IPs on it, then I connect all additional routers to a switch on that network, then configure 1:1 NAT on a router or a managed switch (like the EdgeSwitch from Ubiquiti)? Also if I were to have 200-400 clients, would there be a better way with larger amounts of clients?
  15. This is more for a theoretical WISP idea I have. Just seeing what it takes
