  1. I borrowed a soundcard and it fixed it, sadly the motherboard is now broken.
  2. RMA is not possible anymore. I tried again listening if I can hear any Windows sounds and I can hear a very quiet sound in the static, so I guess this can be fixed with a soundcard?
  3. When using the test thing on volume mixer it does output sound, but nothing on speakers or headphones. I had horrible front panel audio but rear worked fine before this also the 24-pin is properly.
  4. Took it out and still the same problem occurs, the board is not bent at all
  5. - No audio even with headphones - Static stops when I switch off the power supply - I think its properly installed, about to reinstall to make sure now. - Yes noise can be controlled with the controls on speaker. - Plugged in the same way as before - No static when touching the case - Microphone does not work
  6. There was no untill I reinstalled the mobo, certainly not the speakers fault since it happens on my headphones too. Quite sure there was no static shocks and I was fairly careful with the screwdriver.
  7. Still getting static if I change headphones or speakers, speakers are plugged to the same power strip as PC but never had a problem before I reinstalled mobo.
  8. Yes I removed it because my heatsink screws were loose and my case doesn't have a hole on the other side so I had to completely remove it from the case. It is an actual problem since I have no sound at all and the static is really intense.
  9. Indeed noise does stop when unplugged, still cant figure out what is causing it.
  10. Reinstalled drivers to make sure they were working but that shouldn't have any matter with computer being offline and still hearing static And yes the HD Audio is securely on. The static continues even when HD Audio is unplugged
  11. I recently reinstalled my motherboard and after that my speakers wont work (no audio but computer does recognize it) but I hear static noise from them. The static keeps going even if I turn off the computer so what could be the cause of this? If anyone manages to post a working fix I will drop him/her a code for Dragon Age: Inquisition (you can sell it for what I care). MOBO: asrock 970 pro3 r2.0
  12. I turned the heatsink the otherway and tried its on perfectly, still occurs. http://gyazo.com/d658bb2a7e34c948993eed8412208ba0 41 temp at system startup, 2 seconds later its 49. I start up chrome and start a stream on source quality.
