    1.2v SOC helped lowering vcore on 3.8GHz and made it possible for 3.9Ghz

    This also helped me with a stable OC. The vrm of my mobo sucks. goes to 120C with a fan pointed at it with prime95 1.425v

    I have my ram at 3466 and cpu at 3.9Ghz with 1.425v. Haven't tried any lower voltage. The SOC 1.2v and LLC 1 helped ALLOT! Thanks!

    Hi! I've tried to overclock my Ryzen 1700 to 3.8 Ghz but just doesn't want to stay stable with low voltage... My current voltage is 1.3875v, LLC Level 2, SOC 1.16v on my B350M Mortar. The lowest I can go on 3.7Ghz is 1.3v without crashing (30min aida stress test). I've read that others have gotten 1.3v with 3.8Ghz. Either it's my motherboard or I just lost the silicon lottery... 3.9Ghz wasnt stable on 1.45v. My ram is at 3466Mhz(2133 when overclocking). I have the latest BIOS 1.5 and used previous beta BIOS and still the same. Thanks in advanced!

    hehehe. This is my second 1700 after my previous broke 2 days ago so I've remounted the block 3 times.I'm using Arctic silver 5. I also have CP7 that I could use if AS5 is bad. I'm running my 1700 3.7GHz 1.375v.

    I've had my H100i since late 2015 with my old Haswell-E processor. But recently i switched to a Ryzen 1700 and i've been trying to overclock it. It's currently at 3.7GHz 1.375v .Everytime I run a stresstest or even cinebench, it rises to over 100°C even if i have the pump and fans running at full speed. My idle temp is 45-60°C. Is it the cooler? Thanks in advance for the answers!

    I'd recommend that you go for performance over aesthetics for now and upgrade in the future when you have the money. Trust me it's worth it, I hade a budget AMD build and made it look super nice later on. Does an RX 470 match a gtx 960? If so I'd recommend that you save up for a better processor with a higher end motherboard. Erik
