  1. Ah so it would be wise to purchase one of the cards now?
  2. Will the price of the 970 and 980 cards drop with the release of the new 980 Ti? (a beast btw). I am looking to pick one of the two cards above ) Thanks, Choony (EDIT: If price does drop, will it also drop in New Zealand)
  3. Thanks all for suggestions! I think I will opt in for the Gaming 5 and the X61
  4. Something like the Asus Z97-A? I just liked the red and overclocking options.
  5. Heres my build currently http://nz.pcpartpicker.com/p/hxmGYJ I'm planning to overclock my processor slightly as I am quite new to overclocking. A stable 70C or below will be ideal.and at 4.4 GHz or more. $150 NZD -$250 Black with RGB would be nice I'm currently looking at the Corsair H100i or the NZXT Kraken x61 (EDIT: can the x61 change colours)
  6. Well before posting my whole system (which is not complete yet) I'll post what i have currently, a Samsung 840 Pro 500 GB SSD, 2 hdds, a noctua d15 (not fond of water cooling), a seasonic x-750w and an Asus Maximus Vii Hero, just had extra from my budget and needed to know if i should have gone with i5 or i7 etc etc
  7. Title. Please post answers and your opinions. Corsair lp ram just in case you need to know This is a gaming based rig for games like bf4 and shadow of Mordor at 1080p ultra high
  8. But i'm overclocking this system, does this still not matter?
  9. Thanks for all your suggestions! I have now reduced the price down to $2855. Thanks once again

  11. Could someone link me a triple monitor stand that is purchasable from a New Zealand retailer? This is to save on the $100 shipping from Amazon. My budget for the stand is up to $200 (All prices please be in NZD) The VESA mounts are for the Asus VE247H
  12. This build will be used for playing all games at max settings and 60+ FPS Games like Bioshock Infinite, Metro Last Light and Lords of the Fallen will be played often however games like Crysis 3 and Battlefield 4 will also be played occasionally. My current budget for the parts is around $2500 NZD (New Zealand Dollar) all together. This includes shipping, tax and other fees. THIS IS NOT USD I will be building this system most likely during the New Year or past (Jan 10th-15th) as that is when I have a lot of spare time I will need everything needed in a computer: CPU, Graphics Card, Motherboard, Cpu Cooler. However I will not need an OS, or any peripherals As stated in the title, all parts will be sent to New Zealand. But I can order from Amazon, Newegg etc as long as it's the cheapest option. I will be reusing 2 HP Pavilion 20fi monitors, I know this is not an ideal gaming monitor but I would rather have extra performance then new monitors, As for my keyboard I will be using a Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2014, mouse will be the Logitech G502 Core and my headset will be a Logitech G930 I will be overclocking both the CPU and the GPU, but not by much, only enough to achieve 60 FPS+ Max Settings I wouldn't mind having an unlocked CPU like an i7 4790K however that isn't a major point. A black and red theme is what i'm going with this build. Red LED'S, a black case and etc. I already have Windows 8.1 Extra Notes: I would love to have a GTX 970 in this build as it is an amazing card for the price.
