I pulled it apart after it started. I've redone the thermal paste, and it still happens if I'm running minecraft, skype and spotify. I dont even know why it happpens.

HSF is definitely clamped down properly, because AMD coolers are a massive mess on to fit I spent about 15minutes doing that alone

Will do that when i get some thermal paste. Gonna have to leave it as it is for a few days mind for work

RealTemp doesnt work with my CPU, i tried earlier Yeah i recently took the whole pc apart about 2weeks ago, ill order some thermal paste in a bit. Thanks though So I ran DayZ for about 10minutes (Night, Lowest settings) and my CPU was hitting between 108 and 116 Degrees. Doesnt look good.

I have had my PC for about 9months (my uncles old one) and whenever I play a steam game (CS:GO, DayZ, ArmA III, etc), it cuts out after about 15-20mins. I am not too sure if the Thermal Compound is alright, its been on there for about 4 years. Pc specs are as follows; AMD Phenom X4 9650 64bit Quad Core. 6GB DDR2 333MHz RAM ATI Radeon HD 4550 MSI 7501 Mobo
