  1. got everything working now, idk what was wrong just unplugged and replugged everything. Now my monitor says no signal oh this build is already ticking me off.
  2. Link was of no help. Lemme go run it through another system and I will be back. Thanks for the help tho guys
  3. So, on my 6th computer build. And this has never happened. Either it will post, or it wont. So I go to short out the connectors, and the fans spin for maybe 1/2 a second and stops. I triple checked to make sure the PSU was working, which it is. And that the GPU is working in another system, which it is. So I guess you could say it's not powering on, but it is...only for a second however. Any tips or advice would be great! I have a 400 watt power supply set to 115V, with a pentium g3258. And an asus h81m-E motherboard. *UPDATE* Now no signal to monitor. Tired VGA, DVI, DISPLAYPORT, and HDMI and nothing. Plugged into another monitor ( the one im currently using) and still nothing. GPU is working fine. everything is properly connected. Re plugged everything. Time for a new motherboard?
  4. Hmm, either my gpu readings or off, or my thermostat sucks. Not sure which.
  5. Holy f*****g f**k running at 28c temps idle with fan speeds at 25%. Ambient room temperature is 30c (thanks Florida for being so hot during winter...) Was wondering what everyone else's idle temps were? I previously had a water-block cooling my severely outdated Radeon hd6950. and idle temps were 31c.... Playing lords of the fallen, max everything @ 1920x1080 My temps were running at 55c with 60% speed. With my water-blocked 6950 I was running 62c. Was my waterblock not working right, or is the EVGA 970 cooling just awesome?
  6. Um a decent ips 1440p monitor is $450+ a ips 2560x1080 decent one is 250+. There's a big price difference. And korean panels have never lasted more than 2 years for me.
  7. To each his own. I personally prefer an atmospheric gameplay rather than a competitive one. 99% of my steam games are single player only, so yeah :c and 1 dead pixel for 6 years? sounds really annoying!
  8. Well there's your problem lol. Those temps are fine, but i would deal with the noise and try and keep the temps as low as possible for longer gpu life
  9. Well i was gonna get the 4k monitor with a 1ms response time, but i just used a 6ms one, couldn't tell the difference, i'll probably do that
  10. Mine reaches 75 MAX under full load...How much cfm are you getting?
  11. Which one will look better? 4k tn obviously has higher pixel density but less accurate color reproduction. 1440p ips is lower density better reproduction, not to mention it's much less taxing on games, But my rig can run whatever so that's of no issue.
  12. Right it all comes down to the user, so reds are better for gaming and blues are better for typing is bs. which is what i was saying.
  13. All this reds are for gaming blues are for typing is a crock of sh1t. for 99.9% of gamers blues are perfectly fine. Unless your a CoD or Battlefield fanboy and that's ALL you play then yes reds are better. But as for most of us who actually play other games any keyboard will do as long as it functions..
  14. Alright cyberpower has a $1000 instant rebate on the 295x2s. So they are essentially $500 each. What about dual 295x2s ? its only 1k.
