lifeisasus replied to lifeisasus's topic in Phones and Tablets
That is what I was thinking, but I do want to use it for school but I mean it can't be that bad so yeah no worries! Thank you for your reply. -
Hello everyone, I am currently in the process of purchasing a new laptop. I checked many computers already and I kept coming back to MSI, but now my question is what is the real difference between them 2? More specifically, what is the shells of both made of? I know the GS60 pro is in aluminum body but what about the GS70 Pro? Other things I would like to know about them also is the following: Are the temperatures of both reasonable while gaming? Which one gets hotter? Do they get loud? Is the GTX 870m a good card? Is any of them worth my money? I heard track pad is bad, is it bearable? Any other laptops to suggest me that are similar to them or that meats the following requirements? Backlit keyboard metal body, unless the build is very high quality build between 15 - 17 inches monitor good battery life when no gaming light slim nice display of minimum 1080p good video card Thank you for all your help, Brian

Create a shell script “q8” that takes the name of a file as argument. If no arguments are provided the command will print out the message: q8: command q8 needs a file name as argument If the argument is not a file or if the file does not exist it prints out the message q8: Argument “…” must be a file if the first line of the file starts with the string “#|!” it changes permissions on the file so that it is executable by all and prints out the message Making file “…” executable by all And i have this done. I have worked for over 2 hours on trying to fix this, but i can't find the reason or how to do it. #!/bin/bash if [[ $# == 0 ]] then echo "$0: command $0 needs a file name as argument" else if [[ -a $1 || -f $1 ]] then head -1 $1 | cut –c1,2 > q8_tempfile exe=”!#” ftest=$(cat q8_tempfile) if [[ $ftest == $exe ]] then chmod ugo +x echo “Making argument $1 executable by all” else echo “$0: Argument $1 must be a file” fi Thank you for your help! Isn't a Xeon LGA2011 more expensice than i7 ? Also thank you for your suggestion of the raid 10! I have that running in my Synology Nas already! It is perfecto! I will get a dual port intel NIC as well!

Hello all, I am interested in building myself a Windows Server with the latest OS, 2012 i think? Anyways i have a budget of around 1 000.00$ and some requirements. I would like to have a Haswell i7 processor. I was thinking the 4770K since it's unlocked. But hey, I am open to suggestions. The best i can do is explain my usage. I will be streaming HD movies, access it from internet with up to 3 - 4 users at once, sync my synology DS413 nas to it, create a svn and host a website. I will also share data with it to may computers via lan and wan. I would like to chain 2 gigabit ethernet to it. If my budget permits, I would like to have the following: SSD like 60 gigs for the os and the programs 5 gigabit ethernet. 4 or 3 or 2 or 1 terra HDD (i rather cut on hard drive size than the PSU or PCU or Ram) If you need any more details from me please ask! Oh and my preference for mobo is asus or gigabyte. thank you all, Brian Prive
