How about you try using a CD. Maybe there is something wrong with your usb ports, which is highly unlikely.

Maybe your installer itself is corrupt. And what do you mean your old system not powering up? Like after you made the iso file, it suddenly wont power up?

Hello guys, it is my first time posting in this forum, so anyway, i am planning to build a pc. My friend offered me to buy his cpu and motherboard which is a 3770k and a p8z 77m. he bought it last year and still under warranty. He is selling it to me for 300 dollars. His reason is he will gonna build a new pc too. and he also said he will give me the the aftermarket cooler for free which is a hyper 212x. I think it is a good deal but, what do you guys think? Thanks!
