Hey everyone,
I am wondering if it is possible to use gender change adapters on each end of a standard USB cable to reverse the direction of a USB cable. Will this work or will it cause electrical problems?
To better illustrate the scenario that has presented itself for me to ponder this is that I have a long USB cable that is cable managed in a way that it would be difficult to remove and re-position when the situation would arise. As I have other devices in range at both ends that I would like to use at different times I am wondering if two gender change adapters will make this work instead of buying another length of cable and running it the opposite way.
Has anybody done something like this and had positive results?
