true. once you get past 1.5v phase will help.

He didn't say that you had to increase voltage.

He just said that better cooling in and of itself won't increase performance...which technically isn't true if you enable turbo boost.

What I meant was, now I see posts making it seem like regardless of cooling you're going to get the same OC.

You mean people are taking information and misconstruing it.......because they never did that before this video.

Linus was very clear from the start of the video, if you tweak the clocks and voltages then you can get better performance and that wasn't what they were checking in the video, they were checking whether better cooling gave better performance in and of itself.

thats what i'm talking about, i just hate when ppl go around and spread misinformation based on an LTT video they didn't pay attention to

usually i dont care but when it's stuff I have first hand experience with it erks me.
