  1. Okay, I'll get a second one for my monitors. I'm gonna get a slightly higher wattage PSU as well, and make sure to not use the front power button on my case to turn off the PC. Hopefully doing all of that would help make sure this doesn't happen again.
  2. Now that I think about it, having 4 monitors on the UPS doesn't help either. I have 4 monitors, 2 PCs, and a bunch of USB devices hooked up to this UPS. That actually very well be the issue. I might need to get a second one. The only problem I have with that is my second PC was never turned on whenever my main PC's power supply died. Still, it doesn't hurt to be safe.
  3. Yeah, but not the same outlet. I'm gonna move this computer to the same outlet on the UPS my main computer used. Could just be bad wiring in one of the outlets.
  4. It's a little over a year old, and I'm not sure about service history. I've never had problems with it before, so I've never had to get it serviced.
  5. When this first happened, I moved my entire computer downstairs and plugged in only the essentials and directly into the wall. There was no change. I will try plugging this computer into the UPS and see if I get the same issue. Hopefully not, I don't want 2 dead PCs on my hands
  6. Power in my area is stable yes. I live in a high population area so there's lots of power lines to go around. And yes, my power button is connect to the right pins. I just checked.
  7. No power outages. No I hadn't, but I've had the UPS for months - a year before I started encountering these issues. I have 2 PCs connected to the PSU, and only my main PC has had power supplys die. The one I'm on right now, hasn't had any issues.
  8. Right now, like this. I think that is what you meant?
  9. Texas, and it's not bad. My computer is plugged into a UPS, so I'm confident that isn't an issue.
  10. 385 Watts with all the new PC parts, 9 USB devices are connected, one was an external hard drive, but that had its own power supply. Now sure how much power the USBs are taking up, but it shouldn't be that much. Not 400 Watts worth of power anyways. The power supply is Gold efficient as well.
  11. No, if I try turning the computer on, nothing happens. Only the motherboard lights are glowing.
  12. Check my second edit and let me know if that issue sounds familiar. If it is the motherboard, I'll have to get it replaced.
  13. I do have 1 external drive I don't really use. I'll unplug that for now and see if it helps
  14. I did whenever I first built the PC, but back then, I had a different power supply, GPU, and not nearly as many USB devices and hard drives as I do now. I originally had a 650 watt power supply I believe, with a GTX 680, and 1 HDD. I'll check again just to be sure/
  15. This issue has happened twice so far. I used to have a Corsair AX 750 power supply. However, whenever I was having a problem with my PC, I had to shut down my PC with the power button on my computer case. I held the power button down and my PC shuts off. However, when I try to turn the computer back on, it will not turn on. I used a power supply tester to see if the power supply had died and my speculation was correct. My power supply had died from turning off the PC. I thought maybe that the power supply was a bit old, and maybe that's why it died. Thankfully, I was able to get a new power supply from Corsair due to the warranty on the power supply. but I ended up getting a newer version of the same brand power supply (Corsair RM750i). After about 3 weeks of using this new power supply. I turned off the computer in the same way I did before. That also killed my new power supply. At this point, I'm just trying to understand what is happening so I can fix the issue. Any help would be appreciated. EDIT: I should point out, I don't normally turn my PC off this way. I only do this whenever I encounter a certain issue with my PC where my keyboard and mouse input stops working. (Has to do with bad Razer drivers, nothing I can fix without getting a new keyboard and mouse) EDIT 2: One more thing to point out. The motherboard lights are still on, even though the computer won't turn on. Even pressing the motherboard's onboard power button doesn't turn the PC on, but the motherboard still has power. PC Specs: i7 3770k Corsair H100i MSI MPOWER Z77 GTX 980 Corsair RM750i Corsair 650D Case 2 SSDs, 1 HDD lots of USB devices, basically every USB slot on my motherboard is filled. (This might matter if the power supply isn't enough wattage)
