  1. Currently running a Zotac GTX 650 and an AMD Phenom ii X4 955 (second hand) with 8GB of RAM. Had this build for 4 years, it was fast in its adolescence but in its old age has grown old and gets FPS drops and crashes :c. Looking to upgrade the system around May but won't have enough money to upgrade the GPU straight away and will have to settle with CPU upgrade. This GPU will fit perfectly in the system I am looking to build, good luck to everyone and thank you for running the give away!
  2. So recently I upgraded from Windows 7 home premium OEM to Windows 10 and I was curious. As you cannot change a motherboard when you have an OEM operating system, is it now possible for me to upgrade my motherboard in the future because I now have Windows 10, if I need to, rather than buy all the parts and make a new system. I can provide my system specs if needs be. Thanks all
  3. Like I said in my original post, I am building a whole new system by Christmas and I plan to use this GPU, I just had a thought of buying it sooner and seeing whether I could use it and get some sort of a performance increase in my current PC.
  4. Prepare for me to melt your mind with how bad my CPU is: AMD Athlon II X2 270 @3.4Ghz
  5. What is the worst case scenario if I were to do this?
  6. So, a little back story: I have a entry to mid-range PC that has been running for near enough 3 years and I am going to try and upgrade it by Christmas, but, I had a thought. If I get the graphics card I want to get in my new build now and the new power supply as well, will it work with my current system so I can get some extra horse power from it at the moment. I have done some research and I couldn't really turn anything up my self because my motherboard is that old. -Motherboard: Biostar N68S3+ (Told you it was old...) -Possible graphics card: Gigabyte G1 gaming GTX 960 2GB -Possible PSU: EVGA 500B PSU
  7. A lot of the time, rank is no guarantee of skill, even if you are good at the game, it is having a good team that counts. I have come across DMG's and MGE's and out fragged them.
  8. Personally, I have been struggling to get to MGE because of the amount of smurfs in MG ranks. At the moment, I've just been trying to take it as an opportunity to play with higher ranked players.
  9. So, I asked my friends the same question and they all gave me different responses, so, my question is if you have played CS:GO, what did you/ do you think is the hardest rank to get out of or get into?
  10. So here's the deal, I'm upgrading my PC and I have the specs checked and everything is ready to be ordered, but, I was wondering if to save a bit of money, is it possible to wipe all of the data on my current HDD on my existing PC, to be used on my new PC build. I know that Windows can only be used on one motherboard as it is OEM, and I have another copy of Windows to be used on the hard drive when it has been wiped and can be used on the new build if it is possible. -The HDD is a Seagate barracuda 1TB Hard drive and the current OS is Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit (OEM). Thanks in advance guys.
  11. I had this issue yesterday, I loaded up my computer and when I loaded up steam, I got a blue screen saying "Windows has detected a problem and has shut down to cause any damage". This kept happening until I updated my windows and it solved it. Today, the same thing happened, but my windows is up to date. I can use my computer completely fine until I launch steam, it opens for second, then it crashes my computer to crash. I am currently running Windows 7 Home Premium. If anyone has experienced this issue or knows of a solution, please post a comment, thanks guys.
