  1. Lots of what I'm finding seems sketchy and usually talks about cloning an HDD to an SSD. I bought a bigger, faster M.2 that I want to make my primary boot drive and I'm looking for a lightweight, probably free software that isn't malware to facilitate the move. Any suggestions?
  2. He was even saying when got his PC with over 64GB, even though he has a 7700K
  3. He said his buddy made the motherboard. holy shit...this guy has delusions of grandure
  4. Thank you all. I knew he was full of shit but wanted to make sure
  5. Dude in my COD clan says he has 500GB ram sticks. I told him that's BS and server RAM doesn't even go up that high but he says he has specialized RAM which I know exists but I don't think he can game on that type of RAM. Yes? No? Or is specialized RAM with 500GB just sheer BS?
  6. Got it. Wanted a second PC to box in MMOs. Separate tower it is.
  7. Title says it all. I want to put a second graphics card in my system and run a second gaming PC virtually off of one tower. 3900X is the CPU. Is it possible? Is it viable?
  8. Again? Sure thing. Will update tonight. But I have done a clear CMOS a couple times now. I guess I didn't put that in but it was early on and it didn't seem to help
  9. I checked for an update last month and there wasn't any. I think it's 4.40, I'm not in front of it now
  10. Chipset initialization error. Please press reset or clear CMOS.
  11. Hardware ASRock Taichi 1700X EVGA 1080 ti WB Seasonic Titanium 750W G.Skill DDR4 3200mhz memory (F4-3200C16D-16GTZ) Once in a while I try to turn on my computer and I get an error code 62 and it won't boot. If I reset it, sometimes it works right away. Other times I have to reset it a dozen times but it will almost always eventually work. Once it was error code 10, but that was a one off. Sometimes when I log off Elder Scrolls Online, I lose control of my peripherals and nothing happens. I have to reset my computer or shut it down completely. Getting really annoying as this happens when overclocked and when not overclocked. Seems to make no difference. I've reseated GPU, RAM, and CPU to no avail. Temperatures are all amazing (graphics card never gets above 40C and CPU doesn't go above 55C). Any ideas?
  12. Yeah, it's not that. Original post states I already did all that. This is beyond the simple settings issue. Unless there's new information someone can give me, I will likely get rid of this monitor in favor for the PG279Q
  13. Yeah, I've done multiple settings. I've left it at stock 60hz and lowered the frame rate cap to 55. I've overclocked it to every setting and left the fps limit 5 frames below the hz and still get this weird stutter. Watching Linus' review of the PG279Q, that is smooth...but mine seems to jitter every few seconds. It gives me headaches after a few minutes. I've used two different original displayport cables, a gold plated cable rated 4.8 stars on amazon, I've plugged it in every port on my gpu...there's no fixing this issue it seems. I'm ready to drop to PG279Q until OLED panels come in ultrawide. I was hoping to make this my main monitor for another 5 years but it's not worth the literal headache.
