  1. I had another look and the overclock seems to be stable now. Can go 4.1ghz at 1.375v? I'm just unsure about keeping it there for everyday use so I've put it down to 3.8ghz for daily use. Still a little unsure as of what to do, I'm still sort of uneasy not being able to know exact temperatures. Reckon this would be a good enough reason to get a refund from Amazon?
  2. Hi! So I overclocked using BIOS. You bring up a good point, I checked the BIOS before overclocking and it was showing default results. Overclocking was pretty simple, went to 3.8, then 3.9, then 4, then 4.1 without any hitches? Only thing is it's not being read on anything but Windows and Cinebench. Any other software you would recommend?
  3. Hi sorry, I didnt mention this in the initial post. It's actually overclocked to 4ghz,memory at 3200mhz. Guess this also means the software isn't reading my overclocked properly? Only Windows computer properties is seeing 4ghz. Cheers !
  4. Hi everyone. Been having problems witth my 1700. It seems that it might be monitoring my temperatures wrong? At idle I'm getting very low temperatures. Same thing occurs when I run Aida to try stress it out. I'm on the latest drivers from Asus, using the x370F Strix. Tried reflashing motherboard bios a few times to no avail. Have enabled HPET and on the highest performance power mode. Using a Kraken x52 cooler, have tried multiple CPU temp monitoring programs but all are exhibiting the same behavior. Do I just have a godlike chip (unlikely) or is there something else going on here. Best regards,
  5. Hey, I'm looking at the manual for the bridging but I don't understand how it works, could you explain it to me? Sorry! Thank you!
  6. I see I see, guess I won't be using the old one then. Thank you very much for your help! Really appreciate it!
  7. So here's the plan, connect the telephone line into the 68U, plug voip into 68U. is there anyway of using the old router to connect other devices to the internet or as a wireless extender/repeater?
  8. Ah I see, what would the bridging option be under? I'll go check the Billion for it now
  9. What if I don't make the Billion a dumb modem and use the DSL 68U to connect the telephone line to and connect the Billion into the 68U? Would that work?
  10. If I connected the telephone line into the 68U and the old Billion voip modem/router into the 68U, would that work? Thanks!
  11. Mhmmm, I'm looking at the one with an ADSL modem My voip is set up with the phone being connected directly into a phone port in the Billion, with the VOIP settings on the Billion too. Thanks!
  12. Hey, I just realised that the 68U has a DSL port, so correct me if I'm wrong, but I could just connect the telephone line into the 68U, connect the Billion into the 68U and the VOIP on the Billion would work fine then? I thought I had a problem because I thought the 68U didn't have a modem on it (I'm dumb) Thank you!
  13. Sorry forgot to add, just realised my old router doesn't have Gigabit ethernet, only 10/100, so wouldn't this effect performance if I went for the second route? (Damn, really liked your idea!)
