  1. We just got new computers at my workplace and they are everything you would expect of average office computers, there is just one little thing driving me crazy! They have been set up to print a screenshot to my default printer the second you press print screen and more importantly, there is a small green button at the top, right hand side of every window (usually right next to the minimize button) that does the same thing - a quick print of the current screenshot. This has become particularly annoying because it sits over top of the minimize button in google chrome and firefox (obviously designed for internet explorer... yuck). How can I make this little green button go away and how can I stop my print screen button from actually printing the screenshot?
  2. I asked my landlord to restart the modem by unplugging it and plugging it back in and now it works. Thanks! I just wish I could have tried that myself last night!
  3. I will give that a shot. Thank you
  4. This is how it was set up before and how it is set up now. Thanks but still no luck.
  5. Today I booted up my new gaming computer. Nothing too fancy: Intel i5 3570 16GB Dual Channel 1600Mhz DDR3 Ram Geforce GTX660 2GB 3TB Hard Drive Samsung 840 Series 120GB SSD 802.11N 300Mbs Wireless Windows 7 Pro (64bit) But I seem to be having issues with connecting to the internet that I cannot fix. I can see and connect to the router but it says "no internet access" and no matter what I change it doesn't want to let me have internet access. Info: My landlord has the wireless router so I don't have access to it and can only connect with my wireless card. I have installed all the drivers via the CDs/DVDs that came with the hardware. My old desktop computer was running the internet fine before I tore it down and my laptop is connecting and loading webpages just fine. I am posting this from the laptop. I have had problems with this network before (when installing a wireless card on an older computer about a year ago) and when I had questions about the router for my landlord she said "You mean that box above my dryer? I don't know anything about it and my brother deals with it when he is in town". So she probably wont be much help if I need to ask her anything. I am able to connect to the router. It just keeps saying "no internet access" (and sometimes "no network access" off and on) and when I run network diagnostics it used to say "DNS server isn't responding" and then after using my laptop's cmd to find its IP address, Subnet mask, default gateway, and DNS servers and putting them into my preferred settings (with the IP changed and unchanged) instead of the auto find settings nothing changed. So I went back to auto find settings and now when I run network diagnostics I get "your broadband modem is experiencing connectivity issues". During this process I had one restart cycle where it told me I did have internet access but when I tried to load google it said it couldn't find google and then after another restart it went back to the same problem. Please help. I am still a little green with computer workings and fixes so I hope I have explained everything clearly enough and included all important info.
  6. I just purchased the Cyborg/Mad Catz MMO 7. It is amazing and I doubt I will buy a mouse from anyone but cyborg/mad catz again for a long time. It, along with the cyborg rat 9, is the most customizable mouse I know of. They just released a red version and a black version. A really nice perk to the MMO 7 is that it has customizable LED lights in the front of the right and left click buttons that can be changed to virtually any colour and programmed to changed with the handy "mmo shift" feature. You might think that the MMO shift feature and all those programmable buttons are not for you since you don't play much MMO but trust me, they come in handy in a lot of ways! and honestly the MMO shift seems like a feature that would be great for first person shooters too (not sure why they dont market it that way too). Here is a good review video: If you dont like this one, I would strongly recommend checking out one of the cyborg R.A.T.s instead. Nothing beats the customizability and the aesthetics are quite unique.
  7. Beautiful! I appreciate all the detailed pics.
  8. Not exactly Linus and/or Slick, but still Linus and Slick related meme material. For reference see the March 29th live stream 24 minutes in:
