the mothorboard (MOBO) has to be "hackantosh compatible" the graphics card (GPU) hast to be "hackantosh compatible" there are computer bulds for various price ranges that are "hackantosh compatible" and picked out so go with one of those bulds or search up specific mobo's + gpu's then make youre own build.

When looking for a hackantosh you want to make sure the graphics card and MOBO work. if those two work it should work. you should search up reccomended builds or the mobo you are thinking of buying.

To add a different reason why expensive PS's are worth it is looks. A PS with moular cables allows you to make your Pc look MUCH better with good cable managment.
