  1. Saw this two days ago on ROG, smirked the first time
  2. Brilliant answer and completely agree. If you don't know what you are buying and why, then most likely you don't need it. This comes to mind when I see some Caselabs builds on these forums...(I have only just started reading btw)
  3. This is absolutely false. Firstly, there is an upsurge in indipendent titles which hardly need anything more than a dual core processor (i.e. roguelikes such as FTL, Don't Starve or Isaac). Secondly, not even triple A titles make full use of 4 cores with Hyper-threading, apart from a select few (GTA and Battlefield come to mind).
  4. The ASRock 970 and M5A78L-M LE are good boards which fit your CPU
  5. Is the freezer 13 pro much different than the standard version? What is your favourite cooler for this socket?
  6. Thanks for your post Tommy, I don't think upgrading RAM and Hard Drive should be a problem really. Games will be stored on a slave drive so the SSD is really for the O/S and everyday operations. Best point is getting the unlocked version of the 3770, so thanks for that because I didn't consider it important enough.
  7. Parts already ordered and shipped, all I need to do is just put them together. Thoughts please: CORSAIR CARBIDE 400R BLACK 64GB SSD 23 ACER MONITOR Asus P8Z77-V LX Z77 MoBo Intel Core i7 3770 A/Cooling Freezer 13 4GB 2x2GB RAM Corsair TX650M 2GB POV/TGT GTX680 Ultra Charged
  8. All I need is a quick Yes or No answer. No hand shakes. No introductions. No love, hugs or kisses. Is a Corsair TX650M (650W) enough to power a Ultra Charged POV/TGT GTX680? Boom
