  1. STRMfrmXMN, that does seem to be one of the best that I've seen. But I'd prefer to have a charging dock rather than having to switch the batteries over every few days or hours (though this would be the best if a dock-able mouse isn't possible).
  2. Hi, I'm looking for a Wireless mouse that's rechargeable, I play a few games but no high speed FPS so I don't mind the unnoticeable lag, or low DPI. Are the only good ones over £100 like the ouroboros, Rat 9 and sensei wireless? I've got a red and black keyboard/PC set up (I know, cliched) so it would be great to get a mouse that matches but that's not that important. Any suggestions? I'd consider getting something over £100 if people have had really good experiences with them and they're reliable and live long. Thanks
  3. Trying to build a program that will encrypt midi keyboard input into a new set of midi data, but it can also decypher the new set into the original form. It would essentially work like an Enigma Machine but with numbers instead of letters. Does anyone have any idea how I could do this? Was wondering if it could be done with Max 6 by Cycling 74? Any help is appreciated.
  4. Fixed it, Turned out there was a setting in the "display settings" of the screen where I had to "Enable" the displayport 1.2. now it boots onto both screens. Strange though, not sure why they don't just auto detect when there's an input.
  5. Shows that the dell is primary display, unless i boot with both connected, then it shows the TV as primary display.
  6. Unfortunately, didn't work. set it as main. turned computer off and on, only came up on TV. not showing anything on Dell.
  7. So I recently got the Dell U2414h 23.8 inch, I've also got a basic HD ready TV that I was using before. I've used the display port to Mini Display port cable that was supplied and am using my HDMI for my TV. Problem is, when the TV is connected, the PC boots to that even when the Dell screen is connected. To get the PC to even recognize the Dell I have to disconnect the TV before booting up then reconnecting it once booted. What's going on? the Graphics card is completely up to date with drivers. I'm using the GTX 970. Can anybody help? I don't really feel like disconnecting and reconnecting my TV every time I boot up.
  8. Need to buy first monitor for new build, I'm currently using a basic HD TV and wasting all of my GPU. I need a cheapish monitor, preferably under £250 but am willing to stretch to £300. I'm a student so have to move every year, don't want to haul 3 screens around with me for now. Prefer IPS but not completely against TN, also interested in 21:9 but is it any good for a triple screen setup? Medium gaming so response time really isn't a big deal for me, have played consoles all my life. What would you suggest?
  9. Fair point, Just looked at prices and it'd cost me about £80 more including shipping soooo, I think I'll stick with MSI, after all, It will only be used for medium gaming.
  10. TBH I'm pretty good when it comes to cables and am bored of the standard PC cases, The case is purely a preference for me. With the Windforce 3X video card, Is that better than the MSI Twin Frozr?
  11. Although, there is this model that comes with 2 USB 3.0 and 2 USB 2.0 http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B001CHKH4E/?tag=pcp0f-21
  12. Yeah barely found any reviews on the case, Been searching for a better case for a while but I really like the top and will happily deal with the weight and few USB ports.
  13. So something like this? http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/RDj2zy
  14. Just found the Seagate Barracuda 3TB for £69.99, best price/GB on PCbuild. So far: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/L89NBm
  15. Will be used for Medium gaming, nothing too intense, some music production (hence the RAM) then general multitasking and maybe some app developing.
