I just finish building my first pc, and the wiring job that I did was inadequate to say the least. I was wondering, if I were to rewire my pc, would there be any worries of data loss even if I don't break anything?

I don't really care. If a game were to need to use the extra power, then sure, which is why I chose the 4690K, just in case. But I would prefer not to.

Sorry for the hard to answer question, but for my first build for under $1000 USD, should I get an AMD and save $100, or get an Intel Core i5 4690K.
