Can I replace under warranty a Seagate Ironwolf Pro 10TB drive that is under warranty for 2 more years because the QNAP server found anomalies after performing a SMART test? Will Seagate replace me such a drive? After all, the current model is not working properly according to SMART test.

But this PSU is able to coonect more SATA connectors? After connecting 4 SATA cables (each with 4 SATA) it has still free socket to plug another SATA cable? It is impossible to use molex adpaters to SATA to power HDD/SSD? Thanks for help! -
LTT: 320 terabytes in a normal PC case!! The DIY 4k editing NAS

How all 20 HHDs are powered if this PSU only have Max 16 SATA Connectors? And this Case dont have space for two PSUs? And second questions about LSI HBA cards with 4 SAS to 16 SATA. What is the speed of each SATA connector? Each of these 16 has full speed of SATA III? These SAS ports have spped 6.0 Gbit/s or 12.0 Gbit/s? If so: 6.0 Gbit/s / 4 = 1.5 Gbit/s 12.0 Gbit/s / 4 = 3.0 Gbit/s So every HDD on SATA connected to this card has speed of 1.5 Gbit/s or 3.0 Gbit/s or 6.0 Gbit/s? -
Thanks for help. I choose to buy 2x NZXT Grid 10 fan hub and maybe buy less fans. I will connect 4 or 5 to mobo and the rest to nzxt fan hub. NZXT Grid has total power of 30W it is 3 per 1 fan. My fans are from 0,96W to 2,16W so it is ok. But this is just hub opposite to NZXT Grid+ (unavailable in Poland) which has software fan controller. So here is my question how can i control speed of all fans or all at once when they are connected to NZXT Grid?

I want to plugin 20 fans. On my motherboard (Asus Z10PE-D8 WS) there are 2 cpu fan 4 pin connectors and 7 other 4 pin connectors. So 9 fans are ok, but 11 more. The case is Corsair 900D and psu: Corsair AX1200i. There are 20 fans because 8 will be on radiators. Fans: Corsair Air Series SP120 PWM High Performance Edition High Static Pressure Fan (Voltage 7V-12V; Power Draw 0.18A) Corsair Air Series AF120 Quiet Edition High Airflow 120mm Fan (Voltage 7V-12V; Power Draw 0.08A) Corsair Air Series AF140 Quiet Edition High Airflow 140mm (Voltage 7V-12V; Power Draw 0.1A) What fan controller and splitters should i buy? The worst thing is that i don't want any controller which is visible form outside in 3,5 or 5,25 bay, it should sit inside hidden like new Corsair Link Commander Mini which will never be available to buy in my country. What experience do You have?

I am looking for the best way to cool cpus in my build - 2x Xeon Haswell EP/EN v3, case: Corsair 900D. Divided it into two main categories: -Air -Water (custom wc, kits, all in one) I decided to go with two All in one water coolers and found best companies which are making those products: Siftech - 2x H220-X, H320 (too big has to be 240 mm) Corsair - 2x H100i, H105, H110 (too big has to be 240 mm) NZXT - 2x X61 (too big has to be 240 mm) CoolerMaster - 2x 280L (too big has to be 240 mm), 240M Thermaltake - 2x 360mm Water 3.0 Extreme (too big has to be 240 mm), 240 mm Water 3.0 Extreme I know that You will advice to buy top notch air cooler like Noctua, Phanteks or Thermalright but i want something not so big and higher ram sticks. I also won't be building cutom water cooling. From All in One coolers i choose: Corsair H105. I've read that Swiftech AiO is the best but i really don't like design of it. There any other better options?

I wolud like to buy Mushkin Scorpion Deluxe but i am buying in Europe and here it's practically impossible to buy it, i know that also in US there is a big problem with availability of this drive. -
It isn't gaming rig. It will be workstation for rendering, arch-viz. (CAD, 3ds Max, Vray, PS). So i need as much cores as it is possible and also dual gpu is for rendering in real time.

I am looking for the fastest and also quite big hard drive for my arch-viz workstation (file storage, not OS drive). From all companys which makes drives i choose i think the best: WD Black 4 TB Velociraptor 1 TB SEAGATE SSHD (don't want this) HITACHI (WD BRAND) ? TOSHIBA ? I think the best choice will be to buy WD Black 4 TB. I probably don't see any point in making RAID 0 or 1. What do You think?

I'm searching for the best about 1200W power supply (2x Xeon v3, 2x 980, 8 drives, 8 sticks of ram, few fans, overclocking, expandability). I came with a list of top brands: Corsair AXi Antec High Current Pro/Platinium CoolerMaster V Series EVGA G2 Kingwin Lazer PC Power & Cooling Silencer Seasonic XFX Black, XXX series From this i've chose Corsair AX1200i but strongly consider EVGA or Seasonic psus.. What are Your advices?

I saw in real life 900D and it looks and feel like high quality build, it has also really good reviews. So what would you recommend as the best case for dual xeon setup (rendering machine). Earlier i've considerd: Phanteks Enthoo Primo NZXT ? Lian Li ? Rosewill Legacy MX2 (too small) Nanoxia Deep Silence 6 CoolerMaster Cosmos II Thermaltake Urban series InWin 904..(too small) Fractal Design Define XL Razer NZXT H440 (too small) SilverStone Tj11 XFX Type 01 Bitfenix Shinobi XL, Ghost, Shadow, Pandora

Hi, i am planning to buy Corsair Obsidian 900D to my new rendering workstation. I am concern about few compatibility issues: 1. there is in this case any special mount place for 2,5" SSD? or i need to buy an adapter for eg. from 3,5 to 2,5? 2. Does this case support workstation standard motherboards like Z10PE-D8 WS => EEB Form Factor 12 inch x 13 inch ( 30.5 cm x 33.02 cm ). Because on corsair page in specification it isn't listed (only Mini-ITX, MicroATX, ATX, E-ATX, XL-ATX, HPTX) And i have one question about Corsair Hydro series. If any corsair hydro product is compatible with Socket 2011 (Intel SB-E & IB-E) it means also that is compatible with newer version 2011-v3 (HaswellE/EP)/EN or no?

I am looking for the best SSDs for my new workstations. I divided it by interface: SATA: Samsung 850 Pro M.2: Samsung XP941 PCI: ? (Plextor M6E, OCZ RevoDrive 350, Mushkin Scorpion Deluxe, OWC Mercury Accelsior) SATA EXPRESS: none My WS is based on latest Intel Haswell-E CPU. I working in arch-viz industry (AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Vray, Photoshop) I don't know which to choose and if it is worth it to go with SATA in RAID 0. What are Your advices?
