  1. I can't get the game to load far enough to produce an ini file?
  2. I'm honestly feeling pretty discouraged and fed up with PC gaming at the moment. Most of the games I have played up to this point have been indie-ish titles like torchlight or terraria. It seems like every time I try something remotely AAA it just flat out crashes all the time. For example I bought fallout 3 GOTY after seeing the awesome fallout 4 trailer at E3 and the GTA collection while I wait for GTA V to come down in price. Fallout crashes every time I hit play and GTA IV crashes without warning all the time for seemingly no reason. Currently on a Razer blade 2014. I was planning on building a new ~$1000 rig this winter (https://pcpartpicker.com/parts/partlist/)%C2'> but if the games that require power aren't going to work I don't much see the point.
  3. Would like the opinion of the people in this thread which is better for 1080p gaming? the 970 or R9 390?
  4. Its very similar to a build I'm about to make myself. I'll be interested to see which you go with as I'm having a hard time making that decision too.
  5. I'm probably going to go with a 970 strix from asus. Thanks guys.
  6. I don't know if I really need it or not. That's why I made the thread. lol
  7. But I just want 1080p. I'm happy with my current monitor and don't really want to upgrade. I really just want to beast at 1080p for a couple years.
  8. I'm planning on having it for a long time, but my monitor set up is 1080p and I'm not going to be ready to upgrade that for several years.
  9. do you think a 4690k and 970 will be able max most games at 1080p?
  10. Can you please explain why just so I can better understand my purchase? Also will the 970 be enough to max those games at 1080p like I want to?
  11. Sold my old PC for a decent price and I'm planning to build a new one soon. Should I go with a GTX 9704gb or a R9 390 8GB? The R93908 GB looks like it benchmarks a little better than the 970. I was going to go for the 390 because it has more Vram but linus seems to dislike the R9390. I plan to pair it with a core i5 4690k and and hoping to max games or at 1080p 60fps in games like GTAV, Fallout 4, Doom, Battlefront, Unreal tourney. All input is appreciated. Thanks
  12. All of the buttons work but the pointer won't move and the laser isn't on. Is there something I am missing or is it just DOA and I should return it?
